Thats a good idea but I agree it could be overkill. I reverse the whole plant if its a photo but only a part of the plant if its an auto. with photos I can take a clone and spray it but still know what the buds from the plant look like from the mother or other clones. with autos I let part of the plant bud to get an idea of the look of the bud. it's very selective breeding.
^ this is the cs about 14 hours into the process. I probably should have stopped here but I let it go 36 hours last time and it worked well so I'm just doing what I know works. notice the wires turning black and the goo at the bottom of the jar. THIS IS WHEN MOST PEOPLE SAY TO STOP I only continue to let it sit because it has worked this way for me before.
^ My end product after 36 hours is yellow overdone cs. notice the wires are more covered in the black and silver goo.
I found this on the web
"It was once considered that pale yellow was the ideal colour for colloidal silver. This was a reasonable statement, but it was also largely a matter of convenience for users of basic generators, as the color change from clear to pale yellow provided a visual indication that it was time to stop. (The color change indicated the electrolytic process had begun to accelerate and create larger, undesirable particles). Today however, current controlled, generators with a stirring system like the Silver Well are designed to only produce small particles and isolated ions, so the CS usually remains perfectly clear even when relatively high PPM colloidal silver is produced. So the short answer is: Yellow is OK, but clear is best."
here is the auto. it is a kvs single cola I bred from my last run. I will only be spraying the bommom (first pic)
this is the AK clone. I put it in a bigger pot and am spraying the entire plant. hoping to get a small plant with a few flowers.
as this is part of my breeding project I will keep you all up to date on the progress with pics every 2 - 3 days
