Rotblock.co will begin application as soon as it arrives.
Dehumidifier is an option if RH goes way out of sync, but am hopeful from what ive heard about Rotblock.

TUESDAY 10th DECEMBER - Day 1

All popped above soil in the last 12-24 hours. Planning to put new Biotabs into the pots in a few days. 6 pots with 8 seedlings total currently under a Mars SP250. Temps 24-26c. RH is a bit low but doing my best to keep it above 50-60%. Not much I can do right now except do a bit of spraying throughout the day, but by end of the week natural weather will move RH higher.

DAY 4
Added some humidity domes and seems to be helping nicely for now. The humidity will rise naturally soon so I will be able to remove the bottles then and normal RH should take me to where i want to be about.

Gave a half dosage feeding of an organic root formula (for all stages) I picked up earlier. Will see how it goes and this is prob just a one time feed. Mycotrex in with seedling will take care of the rest.

DAY 5
Still going quite strong I think. 3 pics at day 5.

Tomorrow I will put 1 Biotab into each 15L pot and give first feeding of calmag. Then I will order some more Biotabs and add 1 more to each pot in about 3 weeks. Oh must grab some Bio PK for flowering stage and RotBlock on the way soon.

Noticed a few fruit flies and have Bacillus thuringiensis 10% v/v, neem oil and diatomaceous earth(DE) on the way so shouldn't be a problem.

Thanks to all these guys above and everyone else who who has helped make this a reality!

Day 6
Continue to see nice growth. Humidity between 40-60%. Temps between 23-27c. 300w TSL2000 LED. 8 seedlings, 6 pots.

Soil was maybe overwatered, especially near the bottom, whereas the top dries out quickly. Could be partly my environment and cos im using a big pot. but also think that the drainage of the soil is not perfect, time will tell.I might have packed some soil in too tight as well, but nothing crazy. I suppose I will have to take extra care to not overwater and next grow add more perlite or make the soil myself. Prob good I have noticed this before any major symptoms are showing.

Two seedlings in the same pot (pic 1 and 2). It is soon time to decide which one to keep. They are both Chemdogging by Mephisot and although I am inclined to keep the one more in the centre of the pot, I feel that the other one is slightly ahead in terms of growth and would prefer whichever plant will finish first. Though at this stage i think that is impossible to tell who will finish first. So any suggestions on which one to keep and which to cull?

Pic X is the further ahead seedling and last night i noticed the leaves starting to droop a tiny bit and the very very end of the tips turning white. 12-15 hours later and it doesnt seem to have got any worse.
I have stopped watering until moisture levels improve in the pot. As soon as moisture levels are more contained, i will be adding 1 Biotab to each 15L pot and watered with first Calmag dose. Seen Mephisto recommend putting 2 biotabs into each pot after 2-3 weeks (if planting to final container) so no rush I think.

I am planning on picking up a cheap PH pen in coming days as well. cant hurt for $10-12 after i have spent so much already :oops1:

Latest pic of the 2x Chemdogging. 1 has to go. Unsure of which to cull. Any suggestions. The slightly less developed on in centre of pot has a little soil inside the leaves. Woops.

When culling it i should just rip the top of the plant from the soil and forget about the roots or is there a better way to go about this? I dont want to damage the remaining front runner.

Day 7
  • 6 seedlings left standing. 6 Biotabs gone in 5cm deep. 1 into each pot for now.
  • Watered with 0.35ml Calmag in 300ml water (50ml in each pot roughly).
  • Slightly overwatered already so just gave a splash around the Biotab for confidence that there is sufficient Calmag for the week ahead, as likely wont be adding anymore water (or anything at all) for about 5-8 days i think now.
Sitting, waiting, wishing...:pop:

Have ordered the following strains for next run/s.

candy kush - autoseeds
lime dacquiri - DP
grapey walter - Mephisto
double grape - "
pink panama - "
sour stomper - "
samsquanch OG - "
