..truer words,....@MR magoo Thank you brother!! it is a lot of work to grow ,and SHOW especially.LOL thats why I had to cut ties with everyone that I was testing for. was literally killing myself.lol Im still good at mixing soil As long as I have complete control of it this whole run would have been great. But the ones coming up should have been a touch better. But alas, they are not because I gave someone complete control of prepping the pots but these ones coming up now for late Jan or so should do really well some of them I imagine anyway
brudda Eyes' -- Seasoned Greetings to you!
I see you have issued homework for us all - - school time! = View attachment 1270175
..truer words,....
You did the right thing mate, priorities are priorities! And I figure most if not all "sponsors" know the deal with you in particular, so any toe-tapping and ahem'ing needs to be parked in the closet if that is what you're getting....
I'm not sure what you mean by others prepping the pots, you mean literally? How could they fug that up, just scooping and leveling?
Only thing different I see is size, which given the general consistency across all cultivars save a couple, smacks more of cool T's, not the richness or being overly compacted? .... Otherwise the health and quality are all there as usual! And as a group, while it could just be the cultivars/pheno's, I'd say the trich coverage is a notch or 2 up from the typical high bar set we see from you.... the Diesel Cookies and especially the Sour Strawberry Kush stand out to my pervy-eye- ---- .... love those heavy ball nuggies with nice orange fuzz on them! Fast too,.... I'm thinking the Daqui'Lime is probably one of the monster pheno's I've seen out there, longer cycling but yields like a full-on photo... She's making some damn nice spears!
yeah?i dont recall tbt. but yeah man,I could use a hand indeed. LOL gonna have loads to trim before long .I did the same. I was in the relm of trying to be normal and pushing through and with a neurological degenerative disease ya really can only play that game for so long. plus the pain ppl arent helping me much so its a fkn challenge.LOL@Eyes on Fire cheers my friend. I to vanished for a good bit of time. I was just in a bad place, I never forgot about AfN, I just needed to figure out things. I am so glad to be back amongst nice folks
My friend, you holler if you need anything, if I remember correctly, you are only a hop skip away from me.
yeah buddy! thats the way man. a few scoops of raisins at a time man. yeah i was dealing with Bio tabs, and dont think other than mephisto i did grow everything I was given. although the last cpl grows weren't great I'm sure cuz I was spun out LMAO yeah man,if they are autos I'll give a few a run.i got a new set of pots lined up for harvest of the bulk which is a few weeks out easy.. but YUP! Mr. Chump broke the already broken PO system. nothing but wait n hope.LOL:smoking: nawww, wasn't me on seed policing?! ... unless the vendor(s) made some comment and I passed it along to Mongol who was at one point sorta in charge of checking in on folks who received sponsored seeds from the few companies he has formed ties with? -- that whole free seeds for grow&show gig, or the now defunct Battles (those are all done).... Certainly nobody was thinking you snagged and bagged the beans .... Sponsors find that AFN has the best follow-through rate of any forum they work with! So, if you're interested in running a G&S gig down the road, let me know. It new release season coming up, and some breeders like SSSC are popping new stuff out regularly. In fact, rumor has it some test seeds are on their way here now, but last time it took 8+ weeks for them to show from Germany! We had written them off, then one day they showed up, looking just fine... I think it'll be auto Fat Pete's Cookies and auto Bruce Lemon Diesel -
...so you suspect the soil had become too compacted? I agree, fabric pots can be tricky to load up nice and evenly, and of course any handling particularly early on with cause some shifting and settling.
I load them up in layers, like you do I think; add a few inches in, then I use my fingers to tine the surface and edges and lightly pack it down...
