Hi everyone,

I'm growing for the first time on my windowsill using a rather small pot (approx 1gal).

So far everything is looking good I'm on week 10 since germination. Just wandering if you guys have any suggestions on when she'll be ready for the chop?

Look forward to your thoughts!

Hey there @manalicream welcome to AFN.
For a window grow she is doing great.

I'm no fan of RQS but occasionally their genetics work (just a shame it comes from d1ckbags). Case in point, best to add a couple weeks to their listed flower times (all but one of there seed has been 2 - 6 weeks over their mark - But in this situation, being fair to RQS, window light isn't always best and certainly won't speed up much.

If you look at the close up the tricks look milky but looking over the buds the pistols are still forming and white.
Not exact science - with genes, almost nothing is: but a guide mark for me is from the time the pistols form around the 'actual buds' and change colour (and this is when they LOOK like real buds & our collective arses get twitchy to chop. Lmao) + 3ish weeks, so I'd say still a few weeks off at least.
Just a humble guess from pics though.
Keep us posted.
Good luck.

Thanks for your detailed reply @Jimmythenugg. I have no knowledge on breeders and genetics but am surprised how well this has grown so far. I'm feeding with Biobizz fyi. Are there any companies you'd recommend for beginner grows? Dwarf strains ideally.

Here's some more pics of the tricks from today. Will monitor over the next couple of weeks. When should I think about flushing?

Thanks!

Those pics are a little better and can see they're clear.
Hmmm.
See flushing, flushing is a funny thing very controversial but I'd say don't bother, biobiz is organic so trace nutrient elements like salts aren't present.
Would suggest reducing N in last couple weeks (Imo it messes with flavour) and I don't heavy feed when they start eating themselves - waste of nutrients.
But its all a learning curve.

Here's latest update getting close I think. Monitor for another week?

Yeah, just check her every couple days: she'll be good to go soon..
Back to your 'dwarf strains' iv had zero experience with them tbh I did do a bonsai black diesel few months ago, got an ounce of a 2 litre pot.
But that was through LST/HST : topping, tying and even root trimming.
Although I have seen dwarfs trains about, frankly I think its easier to just keep photos small.
