EASIEST WAY TO MAINTAIN GROW WITH A 9-5

I'm away for work between 7:30 to 6:30 and had/have a nice grow this summer on my terrace. For the first time I used biotabs and it was easy and successfull. I didn't have Autopot which would have been even easier, but the plants got along well and I just gave them water in the morning and sometimes when I came home (8 and 10 liter pots).

Hello AFN,

I just had a quick question about maintaining grow while working a full time job.

As a new grower I became skeptical and also had thoughts about growing when I return back to work. But honestly this is my forever passion and I wont let a 9-5 stop me so I just need some advice on what are some of you guys ways of doing this if you also work?
Please help this amateur out!!! :smoking: Happy growing!!:vibe:
Just started my first grow & I work as well. My grow is mostly water only with top amendments added when necessary. Simple as possible. I’m growing outside in a greenhouse though, so lighting was on the Sun’s schedule. Yesterday I installed a LED & I plan on running the lighting schedule on a 17/7, which correlates with my day. I start my day at 3am & end it at 8pm, only made sense to put my ladies on that same schedule.

Here’s my grow journal if you want to check out the details of my grow. Hope this helps & good luck!

Just like my main man @CannabisMingus said and some others before that to. I would recommend Autopots for the ease of watering and as a nutrient line BioTabs if you're in Europe and the dots and recharge if you are State side. That's water only and won't clog the lines in the autopot system.
I had mine last winter running solo for +10 days. Only thing to do was take pictures

I use and love my Auto Pots, but as a new grower I would suggest going as simple as you can and concentrating your first efforts on getting to a successful completion of a grow before going to far out on a limb money wise. Too many show up in the infimary trying to save their grows after they've sunk a fair amount of bank on too much equiptment. Read others grow logs, peruse the forums, try to get a feel for the type of growing you want to do. As a first grow I'd suggest fabric pots (ebay/amzon), MegaCrop is a good all purpose nutrient line, I still get by with using GH pH control kit drops since my Apera took a shyte, a good soil ( I use Happy Frog available at Lowes/Ace/Home Depot. Stay away from the others in that line as they can run abit too hot for seedlings) and the lights and other lil things ( tent, exhaust fan, carbon filter etc) can be had fairly cheaply. My first setup ran 350 but I started with a 2 x 4....Main thing is, it's your grow, do it how you want and enjoy the learning experience.

If the plants are allowed to wake up at night, are all strains the same? Or which strain is better for novice growers at night?

Well-stated advice as always @Bill.de.Cat
