I’ve used nematodes before but not the pot poppers. Is this what you used?

Day 16/13 Covers New
life has been busy lately (also getting sick over and over) the tent has been neglected. I also had my exhaust fans humidity trigger set to 71% and my humidifier set to 70% :wall: Basically my exhaust fan has just been sucking out the water from my humidifier. It all pooled up inside the vent hose and eventually busted out
IMG_5306.jpeg

Had me really confused for a good 10 minutes (my wife left the garage side door slightly cracked after she smoked, I though someone else came in and dumped water everywhere 🤣)
I drained the tube and patched it up then adjusted the exhaust fan and humidifier so this won’t happen again.

Day 16 for Lecter and Frosted CherryOs. I top dressed them with some original soil, Bu’s blend compost, worm castings, 3/4 cup craft blend per plant, and kashi blend. *All the pictures are from yesterday day 16/13.

Then I watered it in with BioAG ION-14, rootwise microbe complete, Big 6 micros, and quillaja. Put the shower caps on too.

Here is lecter after receiving the same treatment.

I also watered the citrus bubblegum and smoke, I will top dress them and cover them on Thursday. Day 13.

I also planted some catnip and Italian sage in a pot together. An experiment to see if one out competes the other or can I grow both in the same pot? Time will tell. I will post pics once I see some action. Thanks for stopping by!

Does your Lecter have a purple stem? I grew two of them and one had a green stem and ended up a regular green plant, the other had a purple stem and purple petioles(leaf stems) amd ended upe turning into a beautiful purple plant! They just got jarred up for cure but the buds turned out a really cool black and green!

Lecter is just rocking a green stem so far

Day 24/21 New
First, thanks for the kitty reps @Mozzy nothing has popped yet. Might have to try some seed starter first then transplant.

Second I just started training Frosted CherryOs. I just bent her down and trimmed a few fan leaves off. I am excited for this one. Day 24

The smoke and Citrus bubblegum got the same treatment as the other two last Thursday. Top dress, fertigate, and cover on. Both have responded well.

The Lecter has stayed pretty small and looks like its in preflower already. Both lecters I have grown have done this.

Here is my opinion on why you have trouble with some seedlings.
The earth box is holding moisture being covered with plastic . Fast autoflowers like lecter will flower regardless the size , so the vegetation stage is highly important to make best of the time . Uncover the plants so they can breathe from the top soil .
You can cover the pot in flower to help contain moisture.
If unsure of results , experiment next time.

A small note.
I have used mephisto genetics to make lecter and I have noticed there genetics are very sensitive . Seem to be unforgiven on most part. 🤔

Thanks for checking in Sawney. I don’t cover them with the plastic until day 20+. I also didn’t water them after planting for 10 days or so. I know the earthboxes retain that moisture. I’m a bit stumped. But I could have overwatered them. The two in the regular earthbox look good

There are definitely things I could be doing better. I need to get a tent notebook and start taking notes to compare and reference. I have also been really busy the last couple years and am not in my tent that often. It’s why I grow with earthboxes. But that also needs to change. I have less classes next term so I will dedicate more time for the tent. Also growing in the garage has presented more challenges than inside the house. Still trying to hone everything in. But I appreciate the advise and will keep trying to learn and get better. :pass:
