Hey all - I've seen DWC totes with net-pots and most have six sites. Logic would be that a larger tote could have eight 3.75" net-pot sites. With Lowryder #2's in a bubble-DWC, what would the minimum space between the center of the net-pot holes be? Will six inches work? That seems to be the average on the one's for sale. With LR #2's only in the bubble-DWC and two of the new, 9U 300W CFL's totaling 600W's and over 9000K - Will eight sites be too many or is that what a sea of green is? Grow room is 3.5'X4'X8'. Also, what about Co2 for this set-up? Your thoughts are very much appreciated. Thanks big time and God Bless,

I use the tote size that you can do six holes, eventually I run out of space so what I do is remove 3 small/non vigorous plants and use the tote to raise 3 plants, I cover the extra holes. I've never tried sea o green with auto's but go for it!

what are the dimensions of your tote and the size of your pots?? also your grow room is enormous forjust those short little plants.. why not try getting a photo strain and growing that son'bitch out till you fill up the place? also if you have the money for a co2 set up go for it, but in that big of space i think normal air circulation from a fan will be fine.. also if youre gona try the 8 pots, think about maybe LSTing them, because with only those two lights in such a compact area, i think the plants are not gona allow any light to get to the bottom branches. if you can maybe get some smaller cfls to put under the canopy.. just a thought

Here you are. Sorry to not reply, I lost the site!

Thanks for the input gentlemen, now to answer, reply and question. lol

Tote size, 33" L X 19'' W X 19'' deep with eight 3.75" net-pots. A little wider and nearly a foot longer than the ''six packs'' being retailed. It's deep to accommodate a fogger to experiment with. They make common sense and can easily enough be taken out if not meeting expectations.

That's a great idea on lighting under the canopy. So, how about a couple of 3' tubular ''grow-lights'' from Lowes strategically placed along the low sides of the tote?

However, this leads to a big dilemma.

With a set-up such as a DWC/BUBBLE/DRIP/FOG in basically a 4'X4' 8 - 16 plant room, with three (3) 350w 9U Feltz 2700K/6500K dual spectrum CFL's to provide enough light to warrant Co2. Whew... to be used.

This set-up is optimal for single cola-bud plants in one way, but could just as well house one to three of these giant LR2's on YouTube where DWC's can make these 60 day wonder LR2's get quite big & bushy. If true, there's not enough room, if most single cola's then great. It would suck to have to toss ten or more beautiful six week old blooming LR2's in the trash.

So, the dilemma, what would the LR2's do, single cola or bushy? Can LR2's be manipulated? Which provides the most yield with this set-up?

It would be nice to let 18 of them rip (9 more to use wall to wall space & hoping for single cola's) and see what happens. But if someone out there reading this is saying to themselves "No dude, don't do it; been there done that..." then please say something. lol If you have any more experiences, ideas or input please say so too.

Thanks & God Bless,
