New Grower Dwc pineapple express auto

Your almost half way my bro. make sure at some point you do raise it.
Yes I know. I tried. I know how to read my plants. If she's drinking more water than nutrients the ppm rises and needs to be lowered or she will get nutrient burn. That's too strong of nutes she told me. She really liked 400ppm and that was her sweet spot before I changed her reservoir. Now if she stays the same ppm she's drinking a balanced diet of water and nutrients which means she's in her sweet spot. If she's drinking more nutrients than water the ppm decreases, which means it's not strong enough nutrients and needs more nutes til you find her sweet spot.

I read back through and it doesn't look like you topped this one. Do you ever top your autos? I know some think it is a big no, but if you need height control do you ever top? Or just use lst? I can't wait to see what's next!

You can top autos for sure. I like to wait til theres 5 nodes before I top. I only top in veg if I do. With the pineapple express Auto it's only 4 weeks veg. Not enough time to top her since I'm already going into flower. So just low stress training to get the best yield possible since topping wasn't an option on this lady. If I was in soil I would of got 5 nodes quicker and could of topped. I only recommend topping an auto once, then low stress training those branches after a few weeks of growth. If you can't low stress train anymore than you already have and height is still a restriction then you can always super crop them to keep them lower

She's got a calcium deficiency I noticed yesterday. Today I made a new res for her. (.4 ec) 200ppm .500 scale of calimagic instead of her 150ppm usual dose. Then base nutrients to 460ppm total. Then ph to 6.3 as calcium is best absorbed in hydro between 6.2 and 6.5. Then hydroguard at 2ml per gallon of water after I let my ph up mix for about a half hour in the res so it doesn't kill the beneficial bacteria in my hydroguard. Res is good and that will fix her
