You can always mix led with hps I did with great results also look at wattage true wattage on them lights I think they will be around 200 each my high power 900s are 350 wats but 4 should be ok for 4 id imagine more light the better

What is your favorite led out of the 3 you own?

I like the viperspectra because it's dimmable but they all put out some great light pal and I would never go back to hps

Right on. I will have to invest in some tax season. Christmas with 7 kids coming up. Hid has to do for now. Trying to figure the best light cycle to run it at since its 1000 watts. 20 hours or even 18 hours a day would be ridiculous. I was thinking trying 16/8. I know it can be done but 12/12 would lead me to not much bud. So I'm thinking 16/8 in the beginning of flower and 18/6 the last few weeks of flower when they're bulking up. I will sell this old school set up to a friend or something once I upgrade to led lighting. Or just keep it as a back up in case you never know.

that should work but the led will save you tons on electric i run mine 18/6 from start to finish

I did to 500 then I checked her today and she was up to 620. So I dropped her down to 460ppm to see how she likes it.

I reckon 600 would be a sweet spot.
