Ah,.... If he can memorize from books and a lot of big fancy words then I have seen they most often lack common sense and very little else. They can memorize all sorts of stuff but can not leave well enough alone. They must tinker and fuck with things. Common sense says it's a blooming weed, let it grow. A last they can not. They need to tinker.

yeah pretty much spot on mate. i told him to keep the seedling light at 18cm. he decided this was too dificult as he didnt want to check it every day so put it at 25cm so they could grow.... they toppled over and died cos they were in root riots that need watered every day...
so next run i drilled in to him to keep the seedling light at exactly 18cm and the root riots at 30-70% dampness. again he decided it was too much work so again rigged the light too high and tied the plants up to sticks after they toppled and damaged the bottom of the stem. stabbed loads of chopsticks through the cubes so he could balance them ontop of a pot of water and keep them constantly soaking. to save spraying them. then smashed them with 540w led after telling him 270w..... 2 of them survived..... these are hbss by mephisto and i swear to the athiest overlord that theyre both 5 weeks old ! and in 20L DWC!!!!

ahahaahahahahahah his mrs goin mad cos he spent £1500 on it all. im annoyed that he isnt listening cos ill make a little from it too but its funny as fuck so i dont care

Perhaps............ah never mind. Some will not listen to you as he knows so much more. How can you grow and he can not, so he is perplexed. KISS is something he does not know, it is too simple of a word to memorized. I do believe you about the age. I have two from my first grow, 72 days old, and they are 7" tall and look like a old time Thai stick. Hell though I did not need the room and boy are they too putting on the trichomes. If I get a gram off each, all is OK.

Will be interesting to see how they go in NFT under LED too. Things seem to grow a bit slower than with HPS so hopefully you can keep stretch under control....last time I ran a room full of Barney's Farm Violator Kush I did maybe 10 veg days after a few days in a propagator before 12/12 and they still swallowed the light. Now I like dwarf autos

Will be interesting to see how they go in NFT under LED too. Things seem to grow a bit slower than with HPS so hopefully you can keep stretch under control....last time I ran a room full of Barney's Farm Violator Kush I did maybe 10 veg days after a few days in a propagator before 12/12 and they still swallowed the light. Now I like dwarf autos

yeah i found a guy on here whos journalled pretty much what i want to do and it went well. gonna top it a few times and veg for 7-8 weeks. then supercrop the whole thing to a starfish and drop a scrog net ontop. veg another week or so to get it all through the net then strip all the lowers and switch to bloom. sounds easy on paper but we’ll see how it goes lol.

yeah man https://www.autoflower.org/threads/dwc-scrog-grow.37275/ he uses dwc. starts in 20L then transplants to 80L at bloom. some growing like, the guys pullin some serious poundage
