It's 38 LPM / 10 GPM. I had read somewhere that 50 LPM in a 5 gallon bucket would rock the hell out of the roots, but of course now I can't find that post. The next size pump was 65 LPM which I felt would be overkill.

Hopefully 38 liters per minute is sufficient.

It would probably have been my post or one I replied to. It’s my max O2 tech that uses 10 lpm per gallon of reservoir water. You are gonna be allll good with 38 lpm per 5 gallons. Mainly because when it fills with roots it’ll be more like 3 gallons of water.

I was curious so I had a look. A 200lpm pump is pricey. Maybe two smaller pumps?

I run 2 pumps = allows multiple airstones so better diffusion in res. Plus, backup in case of one failing, getting clogged, etc. IMHO, YMMV, etc.
