Dutch Passion Dutch Passion StarRyder grow by Seymour-buds

Hey seymour, i hope things are settling down, i was hoping when things get going again you could leave a link here for your new grow journal, i would hate to miss anything!

cheers cozmocracker

Hey Seymour, while growing the starryder did it stink or was only when up close? I like the starryder for shape, yield and sativa effect but need to know if this plant is stealthy?

the starRyder is pretty stealthy all the way through veg and untill she finishes her pre-flower stretch and then out of nowhere their is this infusion of zesty lavender sweet skunyness that starts to emit from her flowers, she has a 1 of a kind aroma which i cant describe in full but its really unique and not to be missed, the aroma also has a feminine vibe to it that certainly attracted me, i found exactly the same qualities in ducth passions auto mazar, it is pretty difficult to tell that its cannabis so you should be able to get away with growing her

their was another pheno which my mate had and he said she was emmiting a vanilla yoghurt kind of scent and he was growing her in soil

hope this helps

cheers

He seymour, Glad to see you back. I have already red the smoke report but what about the final weigth and how about some bud porn. Do you got any pics laying around (especialy from the last weeks before harvest)? Would be nice to see some.

i didnt weigh the starRyder mate as it was a case of just getting rid of stuff and everything related to growing

it also transpired that in the same time frame all this was taking place i had a call from my finacial advisor telling me its time to change my mortgage and we had to have the house revalued so either way the grow would of had to halt

better to be safe than sorry, and again appologises for the abrupt end to the show , i thought we might of seen a few more starRyder journals springing up but i will personaly grow her again, the only reason i didnt choose to grow her this time round is the time frame in which i have to finish my grow and the starRyder could push them few weeks extra

Glad to hear your OK. I can live with the smokereport. I am about to finish my first Think Different. I am amaze by this plant, even in soil it grow in "front of your eyes". Only in two months from seed tot harvest, I am glad I witness the future. Can wait to grow some StarRyder. :smokeit:

Can't wait for the smoke report :)

I've just finished four starryders in 2L pots under a 250 CFL in Plant Magic soil supreme using PM nutes also.

Lots of people are saying it's the best CFL grow they've seen !

The smell is gorgeous and it varies between plants, i can smell candy floss, sherbet lemon and one of them even has a curry sort of smell !

Lovely plant, nice one Dutch Passion seeds :)

All the best,

nibs.

Buds have been drying now for 5 days and this morning the stems were snappy :)

Gobsmacked with yield !

I got over 3oz from the main buds :

Plus a half oz of trim and a half oz of popcorn buds i've been oven-drying then smoking, so it's 4oz !!

I did promise myself i'd do a year with the CFL, so two more grows to go until next April.

Hope you don't mind me posting these pics here SB, but i'm just amazed at the starryder yield under CFL. The buds aren't quite as dense as HPS but they certainly aren't airbuds. Exceelent little auto :)

All the best,

nibs.

yeah the starRyder is a nice strain, i need to grow her again as this grow was a bit of a shambles for what im capable of and we never got to see what this strain can really achieve in terms of yield per plant, dont worry its on my list of things to do and well done on your harvest

cheers

seymour
