Dutch Passion Dutch Passion StarRyder grow by Seymour-buds

cheers tony

ive had to drop back on the nutes big time purely cause i thought i was growing something completly different to what i am, 1 of the plants is showing some dis-taste so ill probably pull her from the grow and replace her with some blueberry yum yum

note to future growers of this strain " go easy on the nutes for the 1st 3 weeks " in fact if your growing in soil i would just add water with added root stim

"not mentally devastating" is a matter of opinion ! heh heh

Oh Tony, I was hoping it was mentally devastating. You guys have created quite an interest.

Seymour thanks for sharing she is a lite feeding the first 3 weeks! More than likely I will be running Star Ryder in soil and I'll remember to hold off on the nutes at least 3 weeks. Can't wait for this show to get cranked up, I know you are going to put on an incredible show. And thanks to the DP team for created a strain I have been searching for over two years.

Thank you all for being so patient. Today we can finally (pheww!) explain what is behind this new AutoFem.

Over the last year Dutch passion have had literally hundreds of customer requests and ideas for new varieties of traditional and AutoFem marijuana. We love getting these requests, and a lot of people said they would like to see Dutch Passion make a collaboration with the Joint Doctor who pioneered autoflowering cannabis. That is what we have been working on!

It brings together the combined expertise of two teams. The original pioneer, the Joint Doctor himself alongside Dutch Passion. We like to feel that Dutch Passion have helped bring AutoFem's to a wide public audience and have pushed a yields and potency a long way in the 5 years we have been involved with them. AutoFems have gone from being something of a technical curiousity to a solid and faster alternative to traditional marijuana varieties. A collaboration with the Joint Doctor is something which we felt was a logical step for us and more importantly, it is something that we hope makes sense to our customers. The pioneer and the progressor combined in one.

The result is StarRyder which Seymour is growing and for which we are extremely grateful. The genetics for this eventually came from our high yielding and potent sativa 'Isis'. StarRyder is a potent variety, 19% THC was measured. It continues and builds on our successful theme of potent buds and lots of it for the self-sufficient recreational or medical grower. We hope the average home grower will be able to get around 50 grams of good quality pot from each plant. The really good growers with pro-skills and optimised grow-rooms will be able to get 100grams++ per plant.

The high is indistinguishable from good quality traditional marijuana. Strong, powerful, fast-hitting and long lasting. We have been working on this for some time and we are pleased with the result. We hope you will like it.

i was expecting something way different starryder is a sagamartha strain

i said exactly the same thing but didnt refer to sagmartha as that is a completly different strain, their are 2 versions of polarlights , the original was made using isis and can still be found in many online seedbanks and the polarlights #2 was probably made using the dutch passions dutch haze strain

my guess was that they gave the joint doctor the original polarlight seeds (isis) and see if he could work the strain to improve on her, there was no mention in the description of anything else being added to the gene pool like williams wonder etc etc so it might just have been a case of selecting the best pheno and producing a consistent strain that produces well everytime, even the description of starRyder matches the original polarlights

i personally would of liked to see something new like un-released genetics i.e cheese x ak47 autoflower or the joint drs chronic ryder crossed with dutch passions blueberry to create a blueberry chronic fusing genetics from both seed breeders to create a monster strain, dont get me wrong i know the starRyder will produce big but its re-hashing an old strain is not exactly setting the pace even crossing the already exsisting automazar to the already exsisting auto blueberry would have been a ground breaker

with many companies now jumping on the auto train it will be difficult to stand out from the crowd, im seeing at least 2-3 new varities of autos being released every week, but then again i suppose dutch passion has a very strong reputation in the canna world and they dont exactly produce poor quality genetics so by them sticking with an already exsisting strain that they have created but improved on it to be even better makes complete sense , they wouldnt release anything unless they were 100% satisfied with the end product and improvements are always good

gonna be interesting to see how these babies turnout

im all for l.e.d technology becoming cheaper and it will do its only a matter of time, its a bit like buying a plasma tv when they 1st got released and people pay £1000 but now you can pick them up for £300, the difference is most high end tvs are 3d and have built in wifi so whats next for l.e.d lights ?

im a massive believer in the price is what was holding people back from switching over but now price its no longer an issue, both l.e.d panels and hps systems can be bought for relavtively the same money, i think its called progression, is 2012 gonna be the boom for l.e.d lights

i havent spoke to hydrogrow in a while so have no idea what they have in the pipeline ready for release

intresting times in the canna world
