Auto SFV OG - Auto Mac #1 and Auto Oh My Gusher
GERMINATION
  • Welcome to my grow showcase, and before we commence, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to @Antonio_DutchPassion for inviting me to this year's Auto Grow & Show event, featuring Dutch Passion's impressive new selection of Cultivars.

I have specifically chosen the MAC#1 for this Grow, flavour, yield and the potential to be XXL, appealed to my style of growing.

I'll briefly give you an overview of the techniques I'm employing, there is however a dedicated thread for a more in depth look in my signature.

Electroculture, also referred to as bio-electro-culture, harnesses the profound effects of electrical energy on plant growth. By implementing low-level electrical currents within the Aether, we stimulate vital plant processes such as metabolism, nutrient absorption, and overall vitality.

Aligning with Lunar Phases is an ancient agricultural practice that revolves around the notion of the moon's influence on plant growth and development. By synchronising our planting, pruning, and harvesting activities with the lunar calendar, we optimise our cultivation efforts.

    Day 1 inside the propagator.

36 hours in and we have the first signs of life, the Cultivar on the left waited another day before breaking free from the Cube.

    Week 10
  • Hey peps we have 1 plant down last night one of the SFV-OG and thinking the short MAC#1 could be coming down later today. The others have a couple of weeks to go yet I've kept this run organic and could of feed them more small 8L pots were harder to keep from not drying out and will always go big from now on.

  • Hey guys :toke:

How's everything going? Inside the greenhouse everything is going it's own pace...Some are a bit slower and others are faster, but that's just fine. Just something you need to keep into consideration when starting a grow. Since I started all my Dutch Passion ladies at the same time, the chance that they finish together is fairly slim. My hands are grateful for this fact as trimming is one of my least favorite pastimes...

Oh, I would also like to remind all of the growers who are testing these fine genetics to abide by the Threadmarks Commandment according to the Cultivators Gospel.
Not following this will make the eye in @Mañ'O'Green's avatar jump out of your screen and eat you :jointman:
    Anyway, remember to have fun!!!

These are my entries for this week, enjoy :thanks:

Smells are very strong from all 3 strains but the omg is on a scale of its own for stinky weed, smells like a sherbet weed infused sweet shop in there.

  • Week 3 Update MAC#1

Managing Stretch and Training the Main Kola:

I'm thrilled to bring you the latest update on our MAC plants as we reach the end of week 3. With day 21 above ground, we are witnessing impressive growth and taking proactive measures to shape the plants' development.

During this week, one of the MACs exhibited a significant stretch, which prompted us to take immediate action. To mitigate this, we carefully managed the environmental conditions. By reducing the temperature difference during lights-off to a minimal 3 degrees Celsius and maximising the Aray lights' intensity at a distance of 40cm, we effectively slowed down the stretch and encouraged more controlled growth.

Introducing Copper Thunder Rods for Training

On day 17, we implemented training using the Copper Thunder Rods to shape the plants' structure and optimise their potential. The main kola was the focal point of this process. By utilising the top crook section of the rod, we gently held down the plant's main stem just above the 5th node. Each day, we retained the rod in position while gradually moving the top of the rod along the stem. This approach not only promotes horizontal growth but also exposes more of the plant to vital light, fostering overall plant health.

Introduction of Thunder Rods Day 17

Over the next 10-12 days the aim is to create a robust and well-balanced plant structure, allowing for optimal nutrient absorption and light distribution.

Here is the growth comparison for the MAC sisters from Days 14-21.

    14-21.jpg

    14-21L.jpg

    Sex

In our previous update, we hinted at the exciting stage of identifying the plants' gender, and today we are thrilled to confirm that we have two lovely ladies in our MAC garden. The unmistakable signs of sex have become more pronounced, offering us a clear indication of each plant's identity.

Upon closer inspection, we can observe the emergence of large pistils that gracefully protrude from the nodes below. These delicate structures, showcasing their vibrant hues, are a telltale sign that our garden is now home to these beautiful ladies.

    Sex.jpg

We now shift our focus towards providing them with essential care and preparing for the next phase of their growth. This week, we will be focusing on maintaining optimal conditions through structured watering and adjusting humidity levels while preparing for the development of a thriving canopy.

A significant milestone awaits us as we approach day 28. At this stage, we anticipate the signs of a developing canopy, a lush green expanse that will define the growth pattern of our ladies. To assist in manipulating the shape of the canopy, we will be introducing a carefully placed net. This measure allows us to guide the growth trajectory, maximise light penetration, and ensure even distribution of energy throughout the plant.

    Happy Growing ;)

    Harvest - Auto Mac #1
  • So yesterday I took down my Auto Mac #1 from our beloved patron, Dutch Passion.

The trimming was easy as pie...
    1689456786900 _small.jpg

And I was left with a pile of primo buds!!!
    1689456786891 _small.jpg

Thank you for the opportunity to grow this cultivar in my greenhouse @Antonio_DutchPassion :toke:
I'll update in a couple of days when the buds are dry with a weight pic or two.

    See you in a bit,

    Bob :toke:

    Weight - Auto SFV OG
  • So while putting the new buds in the drying rack I felt that the Auto SFV OG buds where ready to be put inside a jar. But before we do that, it's time to weigh them
After drying for three days, I was left with 60gr. of primo bud. Have a look for yourselves :welcome:

A plate full of sparkly bud...Mhmmmm....
    1689456786832 _small.jpg

This time my hands weren't as sticky and I had the bottle with ISO nearby...Thus, these pictures are sharp :dizzy:

    1689456786821 _small.jpg

Now it's time to get a good cure on. So into the jar they go. But before I do, I take myself a nice bud and roll me one, I deserved that after a day of hard labor in the greenhouse...The smoke was very smooth and had a lovely taste! It took me quite a while before I could place it, but then it hit me...It was Cloves...A creamy clove taste, never had that before and must say it is quite lovely. Curious if it continues to keep it after curing...

    SFV OG Week 2 - 14 DAYS
  • Hello,

    IMG_2138.jpeg
    IMG_2137.jpeg

Plants have been transplanted in their new home and they are happier than ever!

The soil mix I used is made of: biobizz light mix, worm casting, epsom salt and spores for Mycorrhizae applied directly on roots.
I am using a dehumidifier outside the tent and vents + carbon filter.
In addition I am going to add on the surface alfa alfa seeds and a mint plant to help with insects and odor.
alfa alfa seeds should help with the top layer of soil, that usually become rainproof, and mint help with the odor in late flower and work also as insects repellent.

after transplanting a good watering has been made.

The pot is equipped with a soil humidity sensor that will switch a water pump when it s too dry !
This should help with watering, needed only when plants are supposed to get nutrients.

@Antonio_DutchPassion What do you think about mint? I read on a book that mint and aromatic plants gives an extra taste to the buds.. should I expect my svf og to get a bit of mint taste?
    pass the boof :pass:

By the time I come back from holiday I hope to be welcomed by superfat buds sparkling with trichomes, but we're not there yet.
