Auto SFV OG - Auto Mac #1 and Auto Oh My Gusher

Germination - Week 1 / MAC#1 / Thread Entry No:2

The first week can always be a bit slow but it's never dull. I started with the two seed plugs being transferred into their final pots and adding 2.5 Bio-tabs to each container. Humidity set to 65% and temps under the LED 26-28C.

Lights were set to achieve an initial DLI of 10 but within 18hours it was evident they needed more, due to the extreme stretch. I upped this to what I thought was a reading of 20 and having checked again 36hrs later I was actually at 45DLI. This was my error setting my meter to read at 18/6 rather than for a 24hr cycle. That mistake was rectified and we are now at a DLI of 20ish on a 24hr light cycle until Tuesday, where I will be switching them over to 18/6 for the remaining time they have. The Light Index will slowly get upped over the next month. I usually aim to be at 40 as they transition over into full flower.

The smaller electro antennas will be removed from the seed plugs once the light cycle changes. Around day 14, I like to fully saturate the pot, once the seedling can cope. After this initial heavy watering, I let the pot dry out but not completely, then continue propagation from the internal reservoir.

Both of the Macs' have emerged with funky first leaves, which I'm not concerned about. These ladies are just adjusting to their new home, here they are both on day 7 above ground. :jointman:

Hey Dutch Passion aficionada's :toke:

Here's my weekly update.
Everything is running on autopilot inside the greenhouse. The plants are getting pampered by the bennies inside the soil. All I have to do is water that said soil. Now, it's been kinda rainy the last days, so I've been quite apprehensive in watering to much. There's already enough moisture in the air and this will prevent the ladies from transpiring and take up moisture from the soil. So I rather have the soil a bit on the dry side at the moment and will probably water tomorrow morning.

Looking good mate! Nice update as always :toke:

Seems like the ladies are playing catch after they have been struggling a bit with those high temps and such.
Glad to see some frost and bulking appear on the Auto Mac #1 too.

They are looking just fine to me mate! :woohoo: Keep it up

Heat and Humidity in the tent grew out of my control, and went for more deforestation than defoliation, severe but totally worth it as everything I know about is more or less back in bounds. I've switched this plant to bloom A+B though will still feed TakeRoot for the next week or so. The Dutch Pro regime has a lot of Nitrogen in it, I would love to find a Nitrogen free CalMag and not at all concerned at this girls needs not being met for Nitrogen. There are some signs of size beginning to show and she is standing up nicely to the 4 week older plants.

Week 10
Hey peps we have 1 plant down last night one of the SFV-OG and thinking the short MAC#1 could be coming down later today. The others have a couple of weeks to go yet I've kept this run organic and could of feed them more small 8L pots were harder to keep from not drying out and will always go big from now on.
