Hey all,
I have sensi bloom ph perfect and making the res. If I follow the calc I got ec 2.2 and ph 5.6, now trying to dilute it to have ec 1.6 and ph 5.8 I don't understand why they made it by default 5.6, why not 5.8 for bloom. Need someone with ph perfect experience here, pleaseee.

Thanks bro :smokebuds:! It was fun but It was to cold to stay there longer... I bought some cheese haze and the taste was exactly the same as from my TD. When in cofeeshop he asked what kind of weed do I like I told him I want to smell some and cheese haze smelled so familiar
Caught up*panting from soo much reading* wish the pics weren't messed up from way back. managed to see alot of em looking frosty as. A cheese Haze from you I'm sure would put the coffee shop in it's place!:joint:

Ok Holmes... The pH perfect stuff will keep your pH in range.... Don't worry if it sets it at 5.7... If you monitor it you will notice it will move up & down slightly over the course of the week... IE: I make a fresh res... Buck in my pH perfect nutes etc... Check it... It will be either 5.7 or 5.8 or maybe even 5.9 as to why it's not exactly the same every time I don't know... But nor do I care.. Don't get yourself to annoyed about it..
So I've made a fresh res.. Yeah.. Ok I drop that beast of a yum yum in.. & go to bed...zzzzzzz... Wake up... yawn.. stretch etc.. Drag myself out to the tent... Check pH.. Shit it's 6.2!!... What do I do?? F**k all is what I do... Except probably add some plain water to top up res... (This bitch drinks 5L a day now)... Go to work come home & check pH again... Low & behold the pH is now back down at 5.7 or 5.8... So top up res again... Go have my dinner... Bone the wife or whatever... Watch some guff on the T.V Yada Yada... Get ready for bed... Just before bed go empty the dehumidifier & check pH again... Low & behold again its now at 6.0.... Go to bed... Wake up yawn etc... Go check pH again... Ooh it's now at 5.7 again.. Do you get where I'm going here Ko... Your pH in your res will move up & down as the plant feeds... As long as it stays in range 5.5ish to 6.3ish (not totally sure what exact range is) all is good..
What I'm trying to say is don't shit it if its not bang on 5.8... & don't adjust it with pH+/-.... Just let it ride & your ladies will be fine..
Of course if it goes way out of range (which has happened to me with the AN pH perfect) then it's time to change the res... I'm changing a full res every 3-4 days now.. Simply because she guzzles a res at silly EC (2.4!!) laughs at me & slaps me round some & says MORE!! Lol.. No seriously as I said is she drinking 5L a day so I have to replace 5L a day... & you should change your res after you've added back the same amount of water as your res holds.. I use 15L of water in a full res... So 5L a day over 3 days = 15L & normally by that time the pH will not be correct anymore.. Y'know...
Anyway just make your res with the pH perfect food drop your plants in & let it be... Remember cal/mg into the res FIRST & stir... Then in with the nutes..
Is your cal/mg additive sensical?? If not I'd advise that you get some... I have a feeling that AN pH perfect works best with AN additives.. But that's just my opinion.. :hot:
Remember your ladies eat different elements at different pH's so it's alright to let it move up & down... As long as its still in the range for hydro..

Everything in the grow tent going smoothly and there will be some monster soon
Even with LST there is not much place left. I think I will have once again a 100d+ tree (It is 2nd time happening with one that was weakest when it was young)

Kush, with canna nutrients I had a nightmare, adjusting ph 4 times a day to keep it in 6-6.5 (impossible to had it in 5.8). No with ph perfect I will be released of this sh... and start to enjoy the grow and not the prison. BTW can't change ph with adn
ph + or - just change it for couple of minutes, but when i made a res it was 5.6 and with plant in it changed to 5.8!I will try to reupload (but don't want to do it couple of times, not sure if forum issues all sorted out)
P.S. Sorry but this time there is no root porn (will try to take a pic next time it is not easy to handle them in my small place)
I don't use rizo anymore and roots are growing fine.
Does someone have experience with superior potash? If I understand it should be used as pk?
