I'm partial to my hannah combo meter 98129,been workin great-bought a backup ph probe just in case.

It is a nightmare non of my local stores has what I need! I'v called 5 stores already and each time it is out of stock or will be delivered in 5 days WTF!!!!

That's a bummer mate.. Get yourself onto amazon.. Get one of those yellow £20 ones.. (With calibration powder) If you order it soon it could be dispatched today & with you tomorrow with some luck.. At the same time get a good hanna or bluelab one as well from wherever... But your yellow boy will keep you right until the good one appears... Then keep the yellow one as back up .. But make sure to keep it wet & calibrate it every now & again even when not in use.

I'm glad I had my yellow one on hand after my fiasco last week.. My new bluelab one should be with me today.

Gotta say my new bluelab EC pen is kick ass... Waterproof... Extremely accurate... & tough.. So I'm expecting the same from the BL pH pen.

Just got my new hanna ph/ec pen HI 98129 (180km of route to find single shop that had it and could give it to me directly) . I feel good and bad at the same time (to much money/but so good peace of equipment). Finally I'm calm
Cleaned it and calibrated and now it gives = 100% exact ph values (I really like 0.00 precision). Ec still need to be calibrated (don't have calibration liquid). Unfortunately I'm unable to check ph right now as they are sleeping :twist:, have a bad filling (maybe my ph pen was defect a long time ago...)

Get yourself onto amazon.. Get one of those yellow £20 ones..

Amazon is not an option for me (delivery cost ~ 20€ and 4 days). I will buy one day a new electrode and use it in my old ph meter as back up

Day 20(Actually 25 but it was hibernated for 5 days)

(My ph pen was completely wrong from the first day of grow ) Ph was always to high for this stage 6.0-6.4 .
Made a fresh res today (it is a pleasure to work with new ph pen, damn I shouldn't wait until my old one was completely dead) PH 5.7, ppm 660 (rise it every week), res temp 17-18c, room 20(light out)/25-26(on). Bad feeling, now I know why they didn't grow much, FAIL.
