Mate I hear you and I was the same.
Sadly there is no set limit of water for each plant.
Everything is variable. My room, my lights, my plants and then the different pheno types I get and perhaps you dont.
Watering is something I found hard, this is part of the art really.
You have to feel your way through this and no doubt you will over and under water at some point.
In the end you will learn what your girls like and respond accordingly.
My plants got really heavy into drinking and I was pouring it in as fast as I could.
Then at another stage in there growth this drops off a little. In my case I was slow to notice and respond.
I was so excited that the girls were so thirsty I kept pouring it in.
Its hard mate as I say in each room each auto will react differently.
In the end though you will relax and learn you cant know everything and control everything.
Experience will come though thats for sure
My best tip is little and often. If in doubt dont water. So unless you know the pot is light and needs a feed, leave it for the next round of watering.
Also my advice is go light on the nutrients. Less is deffo more
Thats my 2p.
Very best, take you time, take plenty of pics and update on here as regular as possible.
If you do this as and when things go tits up, folks will have a clear idea of where your at.
Peace.
