Hey guys, my first solo grow here so any help and advise would be greatly appreciated!
For my setup I got a 36x36x72 Viparspectra grow tent with a Viparspectra 600w reflector series LED. I am running a carbon filter with 4in inline duct fan, as well as a mini clip-on fan.
I have 1 AutoBlackberry Kush from Dutch Passion. The seed is from 3 years ago, stored in garage through all kinds of temps, yet to my surprise, it germinated and is starting to sprout.
It started germination on 4/17,
It was planted on 4/20,
It is now 2 days in the hole and starting to show through the dirt.
I have lowered my light to aprox 10 inches from soil.
I got about 52% humidity and the avg temp is 82 degrees F. I plan on adding duct to vent the air out of the tent as for right now it is completely sealed up.
I am excited and look forward to hearing from you all! I have basic grow knowlege but Any advise or things I should do differently please let me know!

Look forward to your help!

Be vigilant with the distance. 10 inches is pretty darn close for a seedling. Good luck with the grow.
Thank you for the advise! What distance would you recommend

Before Autocobs, I normally didn't go any lower than 16" with my led lights. For seedlings, I started at 25-30 and watched for stretch and general health, then lowered from there.

Sounds good, thank you for the help! I will be raising it up tonight then lol

Patience is the hardest thing when growing... time seems to stand still as we wait for any progress. I use to try the forget about it trick but temptation always got me... just get a pair of sunglasses lol eyes will hurt after a while looking at light.

I agree with Wonders probably around 20” for light height to get a idea how they will respond. I use a Envirogrow T5HO 4 bulb 6400k set up to germ and seedlings for first 10 days from surface then move to to MH/ HPS from there but I am thinking about running this WW full time under T5 and do LST to see what I can get.

What type of soil are you using?
Are you going to run RO water and add any nutes or what kind of water you using?

I agree! And yep already got me a pair of glasses lol.
I am using fox farms ocean forest with 5% hydroton.
I have recently moved my light back up to 19.5” from soil top. & I am watering with Herbert’s pure water which measures at a 6.5ph. I look forward to any further advise!

My Viparspectra 600W Reflector manual says to start out at 36-40 inches for seedlings, mine is set at 38" over the foliage of several seedlings and they are doing just fine in my opinion. They are building their second node and it is pretty close to the first at maybe 1/8" of an inch or so. I am not a seasoned pro, but I would say that is fairly tight spacing. Anyhow, figured I should chime in since I have the manual for the same light.
