Right late to the party but had a nightmare with getting started had 2 non germ a stunted 1 that stayed the same did not grow so it got pulled and dropped 2. Here’s a new 1 on day15 she seems happy so here we go.

Im getting the big final bucket lined up and prepped to swap her into so it will be easier to keep the bigger body of solution stable.
She just had a full solution change of
Hydro silicone/enzime/dwc parts a&b/root stim and pure clean and upped the ec to 1.2
I let the pH start at 5.7 and raise to 6.5 and re adjust down to allow feeding through the range.

Week 5 Update 5, Kerosene Krash

It's been a busy week in the garden, Kerosene Betty has been demanding water and with this hot weather, gulping 2litres a day.

The LST at the beginning of the week on Betty has really opened her up to the light and a heavy defol was required 3 days later. I inadvertently split one half of her trunk when tightening the training straps resulting in having to tie her the wrong way to help with the healing process. Thirty six hours later and the split is all but healed, however I will have to have a rethink on how to proceed with this branch. Hopefully the surrounding branches will catch up, a rouge stretchy kola isn't going to help me out with an even canopy. A second round of nutrients with added molasses was given on day 25

I'm intending to go for a SOG type approach with the incorporation of some netting to help out with utilising the full garden space.

Beatrice who's in the nursery will join her Kerosene sisters tomorrow, she's on day 8.

Kerosene Bertha continues to fill out and is showing that she's living up to her name by being a truly compact sturdy plant. I started a little LST with her to get the shape and canopy I want.

If I go with the SOG, I can just manipulate her to get that even canopy. Bertha is drinking about a litre of water every 24hours, day 28 saw her have her first top dressing of Living Soils Auto grow formula and 4 x worm castings to sort out any calcium and magnesium needs. Bertha will be getting a haircut over the weekend and another top dressing of Worm castings at the end of this week.

Official update time for me with my 2 Girls. Both very different but both impressive in their own right.

Skywalker Haze - Day 32

This girl is LANKY I tried to tie her down but the wide node spacing made it really difficult especially with the top two Nodes. One of which I supercropped after a barney with the Mrs so got a bit carried away had to do my usual epic fail saviour of a bit of string around her and she is hanging in there. Really don't know what to expect here having never grown a Sativa so just going to let her ride out from here on in. Switching to Half Dose of Bloom Feed in with Veg Feed next week for both feeds then ill move onto the full bloom feed all Monkey Nutrients range grown under @Marshydro TS1000.

Kerosene Krash - Day 30

This girl has gained a very special place in my heart indeed. The uniformity of her branches and tight Nodes work wonders paired with my OCD. I've tied her down in a uniformed star and she's continued to grow in the same manner. Already starting to kick out a feint dank aroma so the warning I got about her being a stinker is coming to fruition before preflower stretch.

Update 4.
Poor Kerosene is suffering badly in the heat... 40°c in the tent and even hotter in under the tin roof of the lock up.. Nothing I've done has helped really. I've got everything on full and the bucket is double insulated but the res hit 30 at 1 point.. I have plythium build up already so she is getting a full res change, clean everything again with peroxide and run her in a full res up into the basket of ph'd liquid oxygen 3ml per litre for a few hours then add an air gap and run it till morning to kill the plythium off... Its a case of fighting fires until things cool down a bit
