AutoDevilHQ update#6
  • Good day Growers,

I make it Day 40 for the Skywalker and 38 for the Kerosene and these girls are both impressing me in different ways.

I think the Kerosene has been my favourite plant to grow so far. She's so uniformed and symmetrical I'm Defoliating in a mirror image every branch almost looks identical.
Giving her another Defoliation tonight to help get both some extra airflow and more light penetration.

Skywalker has a mind of its own. She's entered flower now and the stretch was very real. Supercropped the other top node a little to keep her away from the light but there's just fat bud sites everywhere. Looking forward to this next few weeks.

Both have been switched to Monkey Nutrients Bloom A/B, Boost, Root Shoot, Stress and as soon as I see a bud I'll start adding PK 14/15

  • Some midweek shots of Kerosene Bertha and Betty, both now on Day 41.

Bertha has well over 40 tops and is stretching in a nice even manor for a tidy canopy.

Kerosene Betty has had 2 rouge runners trying to stretch for the heavens, I've woven these into the net to allow the smaller tops time to catch up.

    Kerosene Bertha.

  • afternoon all,
Day 26 for the Skywalker haze and she's starting her stretch, decided to top her in the end and have stripped out a load of lower down smaller stuff so she can focus her energy on the tops. Have a great weekend everyone!

  • Official week 6 update from AutoDevilHQ.

Dutch Passion Skywalker Haze - Day 43

In a league of her own, head and shoulders above the rest, a giant among plants. All popular turns of phrase that could be used for this girl because she's just turning into a fucking giant (or at least she would if I let her)
One of the top Nodes was about 6 inches taller than the rest of the plant so last week I tried a very risky and experimental supercrop on said node then tied her to the side of the pot to hold her on a side in the hope the flowers would continue to grow upward.
It worked but kinda too well she's fluffed up her pistils so much I've decided to revert the supercrop and tie her back up high again and let her spread her wings as the leaves are always praying hard.
A little Defol of the gigantic fan leaves that could block the sun if you held them up in line with it they're huge!
A very exciting plant to watch grow and I know she tastes amazing as I've had her more than once just never made with AutoDevil love.
Too much effort getting her out for her picture so she stayed in the tent.

    Dutch Passion Kerosene Krash - 15L - Day 42

Still just in love with this girl. She is just so uniformed and clearly indica dominant too but my oh my has she bushed up on the foliage. Late Saturday night I took to the Bush with brilliant Chikamasa Trimmers I was recommended and started chopping away at the fan leaves that were unnecessary. Each time I chopped one I could pretty much jump over to the mirror opposite node and chop a similar leaf it's just so symmetrical and arousing for an OCD freak like me. Starting to sneak out some pretty gassy aroma too getting that first time tent full aroma anxiety even with my carbon filter installed.
Whoever said she stinks wasn't wrong and it's still such early days.

  • Official Update Week 7 Update 7 Kerosene Krash

Another busy week in the garden, Kerosene Betty was treated to 4 dessert spoons of Worm-casts at the beginning of the week to help out with any existing calcium and magnesium issues. I have now transitioned over to full Bloom Nutrients, 5ml of Sensi Bloom AB, every three days with plan pH'd water in between. She has been consistently drinking 1.5 liters of water per 24hr period and had another very light defoliation Wednesday to remove any leaves blocking bud sites or that had been previously damaged. Once stretch has finished I'll have another defoliation to remove any of the first thrid of growth that has returned.

Kerosene Bertha had her first round of Bloom amendments consisting of Barley, Mycoboost and Bloom Auto on Thursday. I think she is moving into monster territory now and has so far been trouble free growing. Stretch so far has been very even making my job in manipulating the canopy very straight forward.

Temperatures have been steady this week, with lights on seeing 27-28C and 24-25C with lights off in the garden. Humility has also been stable at around 55%.

Kerosene Beatrice has been left in the nursery as there is literally no room in at the inn, she is now on day 24 and will have a round of LST of the weekend, photos to follow.

I'm working on getting some more color into those uppermost eaves but any changes are slow to appear. I'm hoping the Bloom nutrients available will start to work their magic over the next few days.

All in all, a successful week for the Kerosene sisters, until next week happy dreaming ;)
