Dutch Passion Dutch Passion 2021 Grow & Show

A non-official midweek update

I'm supposed to be putting another lady in here but I think I've under estimated the XXL nature of the Kerosene genetics. It's lights out for them right now and it's 29C.....day 34 for these two now. Betty on the left has some calmag issues caused by very low ph. For some reason my tap water was coming out last week at 5.4 without me knowing, by the time I've added a splash of lemon juice it was 4.8  All rectified now so hopefully no long term damage.

Lemon juice is my preferred PH down substitute. Cheap as chips & a little goes a long way :cooldance:

Hello AFN...:toke:... unofficial Auto Mazar is starting to move now, she looks like she is spreading her roots out in her new 3.8Ltr fabric home...I took the two inside leaves off that were shading the inside nodes and bent the two mains over....

Of course dude..idk which bit you mean, so I will start at the start....I veg the plant in a small plastic pot for 3-4 weeks under a SF1000 QB, then transplant up into a 3.8Ltr fabric and move to my tent under another SF1000 and a CMH 315w....I topped the Auto Mazar at the 3rd node(leave the third, take 4th away)and then bent the two mains away from each other when they are big enuff, this exposes other previously shaded nodes to light, allowing them to become buds.
The "Inside leaves" I mention are the leaves that face towards the centre of the plant, these leaves nearly always shade the lower nodes when bending them this way, preventing them from growing.....I hope this helps dude, don't hesitate to ask if you want to know anything else dude.... :toke:

Hey guys,
Another warm and sunny day in the greenhouse. :woohoo1: Allif is basking in the sun and filling out those buds nicely. :baby:
I took a small sample yesterday and after flash drying it in the microwave rolled a small joint. Taste wise I can't say much as the high temps inside the microwave burned of most of the terpene's, but the high is there.

Regards,

B

She looks good mate, seen your latest post as well and I'm happy to see how she is doing in your hands and greenhouse :worship:

Auto Mokums Tulip is really taking off now

You can say that again! Solid bushy structure, looking very healthy! This one will be fun to watch :pop:

I think we've all come to the concensus now that are missus's love a good smoke but also love a bigger moan about growing it and buying equipment,
It's funny tho :crying: :coffee:

Haha all ladies are the same... they want to reap the benefits but don't like the risk/investment etc. :crying:

Afternoon all,
Day 19 for the Skywalker haze and she's coming along nicely. Gonna leave her to do her thing without topping her. Have a good weekend all.

Sounds like a plan, finally a grower with some sense here :pighug: (just joking ofc, but good to see you let her grow freely!):d5:

Official Update No.6 Week 6 Kerosene Krash Day 37

The girls have really started to get their grow on this week. Bertha is really starting to show her true XXL genetics, she has been compared to the cabbage that ate Chicago :eyebrows:.

Kerosene Bertha

A carry bag of leaves was removed from the the first 1/3 of the plant including any leaves that were pointing inwards. With the hot weather experienced recently, this has helped out with air flow. Kerosene Bertha was dressed with 4 dessert spoons of Worm-casts at the end of week 5 (Day 35). She will have enough calcium and magnesium now to see her through to the end.

At the end of this week I'll be top dresssing again with Barley, Bloom Auto which consists of ( Organic Bat guano, Northern Atlantic kelp meal, sterilised Bone meal, mined Sulphate of potash, Dolomite Lime, Diatomaceous earth.) and Mycoboost a blend of mycorrhizal fungi, plant beneficial bacteria, humic, fulvic and amino acids and natural growth stimulants.

Kerosene Betty started showing a typical Cal-Mag issue which was really surprising, I know the soil and nutrients are where I need them, so a pH check of the water reservoir in the Lechuza gave the game away. I had a pH issue which had gone unnoticed. I rectified by flushing the container with 10litres of ph'd 6.5 water and then feeding 10ml Molasses alongside 2.5ml Sensi Grow A+B and 2ml Sensi Bloom A+B.

Kerosene Betty

The netting was brought out mid week to start training those branches into the even canopy that I want to utilise the space.

Until next week, Happy Dreaming ;)

Your Queen Bertha looks good mate, keep it up! :d5:Growing with Migro Arrays right?
How many watts in your grow area? And using them on 100% from the start or slowly increasing?

Update no 6 for me at day 43 for my 2 tulip girls as you can see they are both totally different the lovelly green girl is in my normal coco being fed by emerald harvest but her sister is in eco life soil so is an organic lady sadly she lost a lot of colour last week but shes still forming superbly so i will take it as a win even though shes not that pretty

Shame to see one has turned pretty yellow, but I'm also glad to see that she is still stacking! That means the genetics can handle some stress, right ;-)

Update 3 day 29 skywalker haze
She’s stretching now and drinking more just on canna a and b and ryzotonic at the moment.

Beautiful plant mate, hope you will be proud of her growing up! :clapper:
