Mephisto Genetics Duckster does Mephisto

Day 10
Things are crawling right along. Have been using the veg spectrum on this go and the temps are high 88-91 with the lights on and AC running. Turned the AC off for a few hours this week and the temps in the cab hit 95. The girls are going to have to suck it up for a few more weeks. The SC is poking along but her leaves are green and healthy looking. The DBC has a few more leaves but they are rounded and weird looking. Must be a pheno thing as she looks like Spanglish's DBC at the same age. I'll have to swing by Green Bandit's tent and compare to his DBC. I took a couple of pictures and a thought crossed my mind. If bud porn is the equivalent to porn, then pictures of young plants and seedlings would be the equivalent to kiddy and baby porn. If so, then aren't we just a fine bunch of perverts! lmao

Fed with 500ml each
1 ml/l AN pH perfect Grow
1 ml/l AN pH perfect Micro
1 ml/l AN pH perfect Bloom
1 m/l AN VooDoo Juice

I did not turn off the light for the pictures. Not sure it is a trick of the lighting but it looks like I see frost developing on the girls already. WTF I might have to break out the microscope later if I have time - weird.
The DBC with her weird leaves.

Looks like you got the mutant edition of Deep Blue C too. Really strange looking starter leafs, but from what I've seen so far they work it out. Strange behavior though. I've popped two seeds myself and one at a friends house. None of them acted that way. I almost feel cheated, but I guess they aren't supposed to act like that

Happy growin' and following along

Looking great Ducky pal, think you are right about DBC she looks like my first girl with the funky leaves did not really affect here in a negative way, just slowed her a bit near the start but then she grows out of it with multiple tops with ease.

Also have seen 2 in 2 mutant DBC now that have all ended up being the big cola pheno and mine has the lookings of making it 3 in 3, so could just be a coincidence or a good early sign of the pheno.

I wonder if the goofy leaves/deformities might not be a symptom of starting a seedling out in a mix thats slightly too hot. Maybe some varieties are just more sensitive than others...

That's what I was thinking, or possibly heat. I went back a looked some other DBC grows. A few had weird looking leaves at 1-2 weeks. Spanglish saw this on both of his DBC and he uses biobizz light. Regardless of the reason, they all turned into some fine ladies.

Hey mate im sure its just an early growing pain she'll straighten herself out soon

No worries mate, I'm looking forward to some of that mind altering smoke that Spanglish spoke of.

Thanks, glad to be aboard. I put a link to my current grow and will upload
Some pics of the one I just started as soon as there is some progress.

Thanks, will be stopping by to check you out.

Yeh man, I've been using your DBCs as my yardstick. Saw a bit of weird leaves on the first one, but thought I saw a bit on this one too, but that was before you went all Freddy Kruger on her. lmao

Lol really have not been taking much off only 2-3 leaves every couple of days, as soon as the start to cover the lowers between the two colas, by doing this the lowers are catching up with the colas and should turn into sone nice secondaries getting bathed in direct light.

Give her another 3-4 days and she will be growing out of it And should be able to start to see what kind of growth you gonna have to work with 2 or 22 tops, lol Either way is gonna be fun and turn out with some epic smoke, should know am on my third bowl in the pipe right know, hence the ramblings.
