Mephisto Genetics Duckster does Mephisto

When I was young I decided I wanted to be a doctor, so I took the entrance exam to go to Medical School.

One of the questions asked was to rearrange the letters PNEIS into the name of an important human body part which is most useful when erect.

Those who answered spine are doctors today.

The rest of us are sending jokes via email.
man, so that's what's what wrong with docs

Ok so it's been a couple of weeks since my last update. Been crazy busy so no time for pictures and updating. Granddaughter's birthday was last weekend so I took her and a few of her friends out for a day of paintball. They had a bit of rain during their last 2 battles and we had to drive the 60 miles home through a torrential downpour, but all in all they had a great time. Also girls softball season has started. I am granddaughter's team sponsor and one of the coaches. So between practices, games, and an upcoming tournament, lots to do.

My girls have not been neglected, but lets say they aren't getting as much attention as they were a month ago lol. The Deep Blue C is on day 66 and starts her water only diet tomorrow. She maxed out at about 18" and has spread out nicely. Maybe a bit too much as she is crowding her little sisters but more on that later. The buds have stacked and frosted up. A decent looking cola and lots of golfball sized buds everywhere. Also lots of popcorn in the undergrowth. I didn't have the heart to trim out the undergrowth. I just figured that it would make a nice addition to the hash trim bin.

Doesn't seem to be as much frosting as on some my other mephisto girls or am I just getting greedy. I'm figuring her for another 7-10 days. Had planned to chop next Sunday but the upcoming softball tournament will have me at the park all day Saturday and Sunday next weekend. There wasn't too much amber in the trics so I'll probably let her go til the following Monday or Tuesday.

she did plump up

Welcome aboard @trailanimal. Why yes she did plump up. Typical mephisto girl with plump, dense, frosty nugs. I've got an aunt and uncle that live in Fairbanks. They moved into town but this past winter as they are in their 70s & 80s and need to be a little closer civilization. They have tried to get me to pay them a visit but way too cold for my pansy ass.

awesome, family members in the far N, well who knows with climate change and all Fairbanks will be getting even better for gardening, they have much longer growing season than up here

Ok so a busy weekend. The softball team ended up finishing second in the tournament. Their loss in the final game is their only loss of the season. They played 7 games over the weekend so most of the girls are sore and sunburnt. Also had one with an ankle sprain and another with a pulled muscle so they are a little beat up but they're tough.

Ended up delaying the chop for the DBC until this morning. She finished at 18" and yielded a wet weight of 291g and lots of fine trim and pop corn for the hash bin. Can't wait to whip up another batch of hash as I am about out. A few shots from her last photo session.

So day 17 for my Toofless Aliens. The DBC is hogging most of the light so they have to do a bit of contorting to take atvantage of the side lighting. My 2 contorted twins or as I like to call them, Thing 1 and Thing 2.

Thing 1 is at 5" but her branches are running a few days behind her sister's.

Thing 2 is 4.5" but seems further developed than her sister.

Welcome to the party @Moondude. Oh yes the gnome, he is the leader of my growing minions, also have a turtle and a frog. They are supposed to maintain order and watch over my girls while I'm away. Not sure how good of a job they do, but they work cheap and stay out of my stash.

Congrats to the softball team mate.Always a bitter/sweet feeling finishing second but a fine acheivement all the same.
Also grats on your harvest Ducks, excellent for a small plant.

Many thanks for the kind words @redrobbo. Yeah I always thought of second place was kind of like kissing your sister. lolol The DBC was not huge, but bigger than the last one I grew. Should end up with a couple of ounces dry. Enough to keep me happy for at least a month.

Again thanks for the kind words @Wile e Peyote. Yeah I think I'll keep the rep for me and the DBC. Don't know how the girls parents would take to the knowledge that their daughters were being coached by a "criminal" LMAO So we'll keep that little tidbit to ourselves.
