dry, papery, brittle leaves ??

yeah, hit me with results here in the thread when you have em and i'll help ya dial in.

:toke:

EDIT: @ carolina....

an aquarium pump and a 5 gallon bucket is fine and pretty cheap

Well, today they're definitely showing their signs stress. The edges and spots that were darker or blotchy now have rust/brown/tan color dead spots. Looks like those leaves will die in a few days but dunno. Guess we will see.

I'm gonna flush with distilled water Wen they dry out a bit more. Any suggestions on a feed or anything that could clear this up

Cut two leaves off one plant, watered both with distilled water ph 5.8-6.2. Checked run off and ph was 7+ on both.

Not sure if its ideal, but hopefully it helps.

I think they need N badly, and maybe potassium.

I gave them mixture of Dr earths bat guano 10-0-1 and distilled water.
Bubbled the mixture overnight and ph was around 6.
Watered one with this mix and checked runoff ph, it was 7.2 or higher.
So I added 3 tblsp distilled vinegar to the guano mix and ph was under 6.
Watered other plant with this mix and runoff ph was 6.8-7.2.

I don't understand why my soil is raising ph so much after I water it. +1 to +2 points of ph.
Any opinions?

have you considered cutting the bottoms out of the cups and tier-transplanting them into a good soil.
that would give them more root room and a chance to find the food they want from fresh soil instead of
using nutes this early.

Should I transplant them into ocean forest, happy frog or promix organic?

I'll be glad to tier them if it will help. Got a few pieces of advice from muddy I've yet to try as well .

go with muddy's expertise first, fer sure.
I'm guilty of only reading your last post, not the whole thread
ooops,sorry .

He recommended a foliar spray of 1 part ammonia 10 parts water.

What's a good way to lower my water ph?
Do I mix sulfur with water or put it directly in soil?

Or should I transplant into ffof or happy frog and sit back and watch?
