*Co-grow with Bgrow: Dragon F1 crosses testing and selection run!
Ok, Guys and Gals I'm back to keep another grow log and am going to be updating a lot more this grow-round...
So, What is happening with this new log is all about Testing the F1 Dragon crosses and selectively breeding them to roll on in to F2.
I'm going to list the crosses below but We've decided to make it easier to speak of each cross by giving them Temporary names...
The crosses are --- *Black Dragon x Magic Dragon F1 --- Black Magic F1
*Thunder Dragon x Magic Dragon F1 --- Purple Thunder F1
*Short Stuff Super Stinky x Magic Dragon F1 --- Stinky Dragon F1
*Magic Dragon (F2) x Magic Dragon (F2) F3 --- Magic Dragon F3(Same genetics just more stable)
These Magic Dragon F3 are from an early male and a Great big Purple Mother, There's gems in these beans. I'm going to treat these as family...
Also, I will be doing another run with the original Dragons i.e. Black D. F6, Thunder D. F6, Magic D. F2 and one of my favorite Mossy Strains
Purple AK-47.
Bgrow is doing a collaborative grow with me to get the F1 selection process a faster outcome, This will be a great way to grow many F1 plants so we can find mates that would take longer if just I were going it alone. I'm very excited to see what these F1 seeds will do and Ecstatic about the Magic Dragon F3 because These are going to be something special. The female that mothered the offspring was Tall and branchy that needs help keeping the plant standing after full flowering. What I hope to see is The same vigor and color from the females genetic side but an earlier finishing time from the males genetic side and since they are F3's there will almost certainly be less phenotypes.
Oh, Still on the topic of Magic Dragon I want to add that the Flower to Leaf ratio is great. I would say only 10% Leaf to Bud ratio making harvesting very simple...
Shout out to Bgrow : Thanks brother you need to know how helpful you are with teaming on this process!
