Hi all, ive been reading and really enjoying this forum so i decided i would add a grow journal of my own.

I have done more than several grows and for the last few i've been experimanting with Autoflowers. Mostly EazyRyders (AK47 x Lowryder 2) but more recently with some 'Paradise Seeds' strains namely 'Pandora' and 'Vertigo'.

I've managed some pretty heavy yields and some strong smoke, (some chronic and some just tasty) I've managed to hit around 40oz's from a 1.2mx1.2m x 2m high tent... with a bit of LST and Super cropping used. and the Easy Ryder is the winner for yield.

However... I've been getting increasingly annoyed with the variance of genomes which i know is an expected hazzard with working from seed but it's sent me on a quest to find something that i will get the same pleasure from as i used to from my original cloning days of california orange and a seriously potent AK47 mother i was lucky enough to get hold of.

The paradise seeds vertigo seems to give the most consistant quality of dense very frosty and potent buds but isnt the most heavy yielding by a long shot.

After reading and seeing peoples grow diaries of Think Different andf Auto Mazar from Dutch Passion i decided to give them a try but with my timings i'd like to get this first experiment done within 3 months so Think Different is first on the bill.

got to go now but i'll get the first pics and actual grow installment done this evening or tomorrow. Looking forward to chatting and making some new green fingered friends on here!

Peace :toke:

 Looking forward to seeing what you can do...and welcome. There are a couple current TD SCRog journals on the forum in case you need some good ideas and inspiration. May the Bud be with you.

well funk, welcome bro. May I wish you every success, I will be tagging along if thats OK

here's a previous 'parasise seeds' pandora and vertigo grow nearing harvest:

notice the yellowing, thats the autuming, nearly ready to harvest, vertigo (2 weeks quicker than pandora and eazyryder in my experience) and some of the pandora that got too tall and is getting a little sunburned (a shame but they are as far away from the lights as possible reSCROGged down as well as the lights as high as possible) they'll just have to bear it out it seems....

Thanks guys, i've been following some of the other TD grows here and i love seeing the progress with them and some of the great succeses already had with this exciting new strain.

So here we are the beginning of the Dutch Passion 'Think Different' grow.

I know some people like the storytelling type of journal and some just want the cold hard facts, i'll try and strike a balance. But i can't promise anything if i've had a smoke, i could get quite inventive... ;)

Seeds arrived, unfortunately 1 was half crushed and one was slightly cracked (I recomend paying for seed protection on your order of dutch passion seeds as there is no strong seed protection in the packaging, like a mini plastic vail as seen by some seed companies) i have included them in the germination process tho because there have been occasions when a slightly damaged seed has managed to germinate.

So 10 seeds put between 4 layers of tissue on a plate, wetted with water plus a tiny amount of formulex (like 1 ml per litre) cover with another plate to maintain humiditythen place in the cupboard which is slightly above room temperature being well vented but with hot water tank in. I've had around 95% germination succes rate with this method and would recomend it as long as you are light handed enough to handle the seedlings without damaging them.

Now we sit back and wait a few days with a daily fresh small amout of water + formulex 1ml/L on the tissue if needed

So ended up with 10 little wonders. A very proud dad right here. I have tho made a slight blunder, these are ready to go into cubes this evening but i realised i have only 3 cubes left at the moment. I really didnt expect them to pop so quick, usually in the past its been 48 hours before they even crack and sprout at all let alone be ready to cube up. Never mind, they'll just have to wait till tomorrow when i pick up some cubes. They'll probably go slightly lanky while they wait but that has never seemed to cause any issues for me before.
