Dutch Passion DP recon - Green Ops 2015

looks nice Maff, the AutoEuforia seems to have coped well with the conditions. It will be interesting to see your comparison of the auto selection

I was a little bit curious, I wondered whether you had thought of rooting the plants directly into the ground? Some guerrilla growers thinks it allows the plants more independence.

Anyway - looking good Maff, lets hope for good weather to end the grow in September

Thanks Tony for the tip but the mould in my spots is usually brutal and when i started off the ones in the ground or closest too always got it bad. If i had a spot at sea level with better surroundings id do it for sure and do it BIG !
The mouldless euphoria may not have been a fluke as after a week of rain the mazar is also clean ! This girls ready to fall after a week of rainflush and no more hairs, she is in stink mode and ive noticed a few mushroom enthusiasts hittin the forrests so sooner the better.

Checked on old red today and she had fallen to the dreaded mould, not suprising given the weather over the past week. The mould was hard to spot only the slightest shriveling of some small leafs gave the rot away its hard to see on purple plants innit.

Luckily only two buds had perished so with a week of unsettled weather ahead I took the decision to chop, she was over 100 days old so leaving her any longer could have been catastrophic to the stash! The smell is hashy and the buds are dense, i might even borrow some scales to see the actual weight.

Pretty sure I germinated this girl in the middle of May and she went out 4 weeks later so got a good bit of sun either side of the solstice before flowering in the hottest months (well supposed to be) July and August. I think that growing window is the best for autos in the UK, any later and your gambling on September heat waves ! Any earlier and your gambling on May which does usually produce wet weather and June to finish. You can check with the met office but im sure this years May to August has been a record breaker for shitness plus im up in the 50's latitude wise and still the ganja is growing. Had some issues with the wind but ill sort that for next season plus ill bring 2 more bigger containers to this spot so im looking at 7 plants, 3 out again in may then 4 in June.
Now its full steam ahead with the photoperiods !

Lovely hashy flavours coming out of the auto mazar and a cool stone thank you very much Dutch Passion its a real treat to smoke and I got a good litre jar of frosty silvery purply nugs !
Heres some pics of the Fresian Duck in just starting to flower mode
DSCF1848.JPG

The insects love her ! Every leaf has had a nibble and nothing on the plants next to her.
DSCF1849.JPG

She doesnt really look like a canna plant either, im really curious of what the stone will be like, ill get some pics up tomorrow of the other girls.

Heres a little sample of the state of flowering my photoperiods are in, its interesting to see the differences around the world and I thank the forum for that, love seeing all the harvests coming in this time of year !

Fresian dew shes a good 7 ft high but is behind a bit flowering wise, no mould anywhere though.

Forest dream not even started yet, gonna let her go into October, will be interesting to see how much punishment she can take !

This is the smaller half eaten forest dream slightly further along with flowering.

The little Fresian in the mop bucket.

The best flowering plants unfortunately have been the hardest hit by mould, Fresian Dew girls have had it hard on the stems and its cost me half a plant already, will try the peroxide mixture this year i think.

Well most of the fresians are down now, really struggled with mould on the purple ones when the night time temps dropped. The fresian duck didnt really develop early on and struggled with the conditions and the forest dreams are still green and going ok with small buds but are getting more stilnky and resinous all the time.

Purple pheno Fresian got hit bad with the mould and came down early last week.

Mop bucket Fresian did ok considering, a few of these little ones at sealevel next year me thinks

Lylac Fresian struggled this year too im thinking this spot is loosing some sun due to trees at the top of the valley growing and blocking the sun more in september when the sun has shifted. still the best smelling pheno this one.

Fresian Duck produced lots of small purple nugs -easy to manicure for sure ! Earthy smell to it at the moment and cant wait to sample it with some rugby this weekend. The plant seemed to be healthy but the sugar leafs where a bit prone to mould as you can see in the pic above sure it would produce a decent crop in better conditions. Got one last green fresian left which has a good sugar frosting right now and seems to be holding on quite well so ok weather now till next week so she goes on.

brave efforts and a tough struggle against borderline weather all year Maff. You fully deserve each of the nuggets

Cheers Tony this years not the greatest for the purple coloured plants for sure but the greener plants are thriving, had a week of sunshine with more forecast till the weekend so keep on truckin !

The back up forest dream that was eaten, didnt find any mould on her and ive lollypopped her ass!

Better forest dream ! Both girls in 3 gallon buckets but this one doing much better think they will go into the 3rd week of October easy.

Thank the lord for the green pheno Fresian Dew, starting to smell like mangoes, little bits of mould but should last till the weekend, ll check last thing tomorrow and if no more mould she goes on.
Had a sneaky little bong of the forest dream from some premature samples today and it was sweet and rushy, the fresian duck doesnt smell or taste of much but gets you stoned ! Much heavier than the 3 fresian dews ive sampled this year.

So the duck packs a punch![emoji3]
Great growing, bless the green pheno its one for the weather beaten!

Good effort with the Frisians.

I planted 10 BB Blue Cheese Autos out this summer, with three on my decking.

Total disaster (northern UK) this summer was the wettest for 55 years..

I got about an OZ all told.

Tastes like shite too, which is a shame as early on flower the smell was beautiful and fruity.

Gets me high though, but I won't be growing outdoors here ever again
