Sun is shining - weather is sweet
makes you wanna grow - a sticky green treat !!!

The outdoor season is upon us and Dutch Passion have some new genetics to teast against the uk weather. The 1st set of autos has already popped the surface one each of euphoria, blackberry kush and wwidow auto, i havent labelled these so its lucky dip. I used john innes cutting and seedling and john innes no1 compost along with perlite.

Ive moved spots this year which means more sun and more walking with water :( so im starting off with 3 to see how my knees hold up. Will do another 3 in june or maybe 5 ? ive got 6 beans left of the mentioned varieties and will germinate them all at the end of may, i did get some fresian autos too which ive given to a mate to run and ill post some pics of those when i get the call.
Photoperiod wise ive preped the same spot as always with 7 growbags (cheapest i could find !) the plan is to run 5 fresians with one each of fresian duck and forrest dream, there is scope to run more ducks and dreams but i want to see how they flower here before putting in the sweat and tears ! Photos to be germinated sometime next week, im using 2 litre pots to start and plan to have them out middle of next month.
Big up to DP Toney for sorting me out much appreciated boyo.

Sounds like a good plan.......may your sweat and tears, and no blood hopefully, get rewarded with a decent summer.

I also plan to do Frisian Duck, 3 plants semi-guerrilla style, with that I mean that I can water, fertilize and try to keep friggin slugs and snails at bay daily or so, it's only a 1 minute walk away. Will be interesting to hear how you do with the Duck, mould, yield and what you think about the quality when that time comes around.

Good Luck

State of pay on this fine day is as follows - 4 fresians and one duck have made the surface

I think thats enough photoperiods for this wave of plants, when the autos go out ill germinate the forrest dreams and im thinking about more fresians !!! Im sure another 5 pack late season wont do any harm.

Blackberry kush, auto euphoria and autowwidow, didnt label these so no strain discrimination possible on this grow !
Has anyone done or seen a 12 - 12 grow from seed that was finished out door ? Im in need of some stronger meds and am considering doing some high grade indica photo strains or cbd strains 12-12 july aug in the fluro box then out middle of august. Any advice on that very welcome
Happy growing

Well the 3 autos went out at the start of the month and they havent seen a day of sunshine yet ! 1st weekend was gale force wind and its been grey since then.

All autos got a feed of seaweed extract today now all we need is some sun !
Photoperiod wise the 4 fresians and fine but the duck is having problems, the 1st set of ridged leafs has dried out and a bit crumbly, the new leafs are fine, i dont think they like high temps and my humidity isnt very high either.

2 on the left and the front 2 middle are fresians, the ducks obvious and the other 2 are early skunk.

Grow bags preped with mychrozai fungi, and into soak yesterday 2 forrest dream and an auto mazar.
C'mon SUN

Subbed maffo, I'm from the UK also. I'm really interested in how the new DP Auto genetics
Will perform outside here. I might put a few outside myself. Had some great success with some TD last summer.

Thanks Bunny and Darth nice to have you along for the ride !
Weather wise though its been ruff as........ More gales and a really intense burst of hail earlier this week has battered the plants and one has perished beyond saving and unfortunately it looks like it was the blackberry kush auto, I think the rootball has been detatched from the stem as the plant looks like it cant take up any water although the soil is damp enough. The schaze has also gone the same way in another spot, its the first time ive lost plants to wind damage.

The wwauto and the euphoria seem fine and have just started to flower, the automazar has popped through the soil so has 2 forrest dreams. As the autos are flowering later than expected i dont think ill be able to do 2 waves of autos but as 2 auto/superauto have perished I can certainly soak another 2 beans which have to be Blackberrykush so ill source some more seedling compost and get on that today ! 4 Fresians went out last night and the rest of the photoperiod plants will go out next week, weather not looking good for the next week either !

The auto on the left has also had a bashing but seems to be holding up. fingers crossed

WOW mother nature is testing those genetics the last picture the one on the right is a champion in my books gale force winds and not a leaf out of place and starting to flower with next to no sun amazing best of luck and I am in for this grow

So all of the first wave of plants are out and theres been some sun around too which is nice, the next wave consists of 2 forrest dreams, 2 blackberry kush and an auto mazar. I have a 5 pack of fresian dew in my hand too which will probably be soaking later maybe for a container grow somewhere maybe !

the little plant has wind/root damage and was a half speed mutant so ill give it till the 2 bbkushs are ready to go out and if its still naff its pulled. The other 2 going good cant tell which is the widow auto yet but both bigger than last years already so hopefully some sunshine for the flowering phase and boom !
