Hi everyone, I've been drooling over an Autopot system for a while now and finally gathered enough funds. I bought an Autopot system with four 15L pots, a 47L tank and Airdomes. I currently have one air pump (Hailea ACO-2204) with 2 outlets that has a max. total capacity of 4L/min. I read somewhere on AFN that Airdomes are recommended to use an airflow of 100-200L/hour . Is this correct or can I use more? I need to buy a QUIET pump with 4 outlets. Any recommendations?

My setup:
Space: Mammoth Pro 1.2×1.2m tent
Air system: Soler & Palau TD-350 Silent fan + Rhino Pro 425m³ carbon filter. Passive intake.
Medium: 5cm bottom layer of Hydroton + Coco:Hydroton (80:20)
Containers: 15L Autopots with Airdomes
Air Pump: Hailea ACO-2204 (2 outputs, max. 4L/min) + ?
Recirculating water pump in tank: Sicce Syncra Nano (140-400 L/hour)
Light: 5W Mars Reflector 96 (200W draw), 2 x GN HS1 LED (75W draw) + Lightwave T5HO (96W draw).
Nutrients: Advanced Nutrients Grow A+B, Coco Bloom A+B, Sensizym (small amount left), Voodoo Juice, Big Bud Coco, Overdrive, Carboload and Sensi Cal-Mag Extra (roughly TaNg's feeding schedule).

I will be growing the following strain
2 x Dutch Passion AutoColorado Cookies
2 x Dutch Passion AutoBrooklyn Sunrise

I'm going to LST the plants to create an even canopy of buds (inspired by @Hazy).

My tent is currently occupied by a huge Dutch Passion AutoDaiquiri Lime @ day 116, which is growing in a makeshift Autopot. I put an Airdome in the bottom of an Air Pot and stuck the whole thing in a large container. I fill the container with a few litres of water after it dries out. I also have 5 Dutch Passion AutoBlackberry Kush @ day 64 or so. The ADL is coming down in about one week, which will free up the HS1 LED's for the Autopots.

Im here to watch and learn

Welcome @Dudeski, we'll both be learning for this grow ;)

I've been washing and Ph treating some hydroton as preparation for this grow, and I'm finding it a real pita to balance the Ph. The bag said the Ph was 9.5 :yoinks: so I expected it to take some time to correct, but not 3 days... I first washed all of the clay dust off of them. After that I filled a container with tap water (Ph 8.1) and Ph-ed it to 5.5 with citric acid. I dumped all of the clay balls in there overnight. The next day the Ph was at 8. I replaced the water and Ph-ed to 5. The next day it was 7.3. Ph-ed fresh water to 5, ended up 6.3 overnight. I've now Ph-ed the same water with balls in it to 4.5. Hopefully they're good to go by tomorrow.

Has anyone else had these issues with Ph treating hydroton?
