And this waiting includes not giving P-K booster at the usual time?

Without a tissue sample test all we can do is speculate. We do not know how much P-K is already in the pot. So my advice is to wait until the plant needs it.

The thing I like about bblm is that the peat is not ground as fine, also lack of gnats compared to others . I have used both plain and with added perlite added. Both ways do the job. 3rd week I am still easy on the nutes I tend to water less of the pot early on which means that a lot of soil is not discharging. I also do not water till overflow.. So I figure there are slightly more precharged nutes left then someone using more water.
