Doc Bud's High Brix Organix Kit - ACE Congo & Purple Haze Thai

This plant has been alive since approximately the 28th of September. 3 weeks were spent in veg before the flip to 12/12, and then recently she's been in 10/14. I suspect she will continue growing flowers aggressively for another 4 weeks, but I'm really just playing off intuition and reading her. She wanted to feed very pickily at first, but I think I've figured her out a bit where I can keep my soil energy high and stay aggressive on the foliars and not see signs of distress. Right now she absolutely needs a full coverage of Brix every 5 days, no questions asked. Stress is administered 2 days after Brix, then the day after as well just from the bottom of the leaves. This is keeping her moist as well, which has been an issue in my space.

Here are some cellphone pics, please ask any questions, I'd love to talk about this experience as we reach the final stretch of flowering! Smells are 100% eucalyptus oil, it's that rich smell of fattiness (that unctuous oil smell) combined with the ripe, green, picquant eucalyptus smell...just earthy and spicy all over. Not getting ANNNNNY fruit AT ALL in the bouquet, but it's not grassy or hay-ish, it's definitely medicine just getting a face full of terpenes!

Impressive!

I had my outdoor soil tested this past fall for High Brix, can't wait for spring to get going in particular after seeing how well this is working for you.

Keep up the great work, can't wait to see your final yield and smoke report

Thanks bud, when you compare this to the fact that I have more or less mastered coco + GH nutes, it's a SUPER simple system. When Doc Bud gets his products in a more commercialized form, I'd be really surprised if it didn't supplant a lot of major nutrient manufacturers just from ease of use and quality of results. The Congo I grew this style is fully cured out and is some of the best smoke I've ever dreamed of; this pheno of Congo was not a winner, but the quality of the finished product is well above anything I've done before from a taste/smoothness/effect perspective. Very easy kit to follow if you can keep a basic horticultural schedule.

I gave 3ml of cationic drench 3 days ago and again last night. Last night was also a spraying of Brix...that cationic drench is totally money, really ups the terpene production in late flower and I've seen a LOT more trich formation over the past few days. Straight Energy/Brix/Stress from here out, I'm pretty much out of everything else because I spilled my transplant :-( Guessing at another 4-5 weeks.

the plant looks great for sure!

What week of flower do you like to give your first shot of catatonic drench??

btw i also just bought more trasnplant from DOC two 12oz bottles full for $24.00USD

Read his thread on 420 mag (dot) com. That's all I'm saying...it's legit.

@SirGL: I gave Cationic week 8 I believe, and this is now week....something something, so ultimately I think the recommendation is around 4 on an 8 week strain. That being said, Doc has outlined some of the parameters of the feeds thusly. My takeaway is to read the plants, stick to the schedule, adapt if required/desired/you got it wired (see, that rhymes!):

"Well, you could use ONLY energy the entire time if you wanted. I did that on the first two grows with the kit. However, we can enhance things a bit by getting creative with soil energy.

Energy, or Growth Energy in the "new" kit (coming soon) has lots of calcium and nitrate form of nitrogen. The nitrate form of nitrogen is very much skewed to the growth side of things, which means it's also a bulking agent once buds are formed.

Transplant is an organic fertilizer which means it is slightly skewed to the reproductive side of things as all organic fertilizers are.

Cat Drench is liquid fish with phosphates and sulfates (both highly reproductive in effect) along with the ammonium form of nitrogen which is also reproductive in effect.

Used together, at the right time, in the right way, we can increase yield, increase brix, and basically rock the crop.

All the high brix tools are like keys on the keyboard, strings on the guitar, paints on the tray, etc. How we put them all together is where the beauty comes in.

So, a word of advice:

For the first grow or two follow directions. Once you see what this stuff does and gain an understanding for how it effects your plants, feel free to experiment with everything. That's where the artistry comes into play. The weed is going to blow your mind even if you only fed growth energy the whole time....but trust me, it can be better!"

Dropped some cat drench on her on Thursday, growth energy only from here out based on his recent postings...need to bulk everything up for the last 4 weeks, she seems a bit light on calyx growth, although she's pushing pistils like a fiend!
