I do not want smell to leave the apartment. I have read that people use bags of activated charcoal in little linen bags to remove odor in rooms like the room they have cat litter in and in shoes to remove the odor in it. I put 1 in my drying tent after I was done using it as it smelled strong and after a day it does not smell like that. I plan to put a few around in the room the tent is in. I have a filter in the tent but this is to help with the smell when the tent is open. Do you think that putting a bag of activated charcoal in the cabinet that I keep the jars of bud in would have any negative effect like remove terpenes or anything like that for it on there?

peeps using lil bags of charcoal in rooms................hmm would that be a Tattler thing,maybe well to do folk that may work in the Arts,them with sensitive noses ? im sure there are other products a lot more effective for shoes n cat shit.
a bag of charcoal in a cupboard with sealed jars....zero effect,as the jars are sealed.
you have a grow tent and a drying tent ? assuming they beside each other,feed a bit of ducting to the grow tent.if its not get another fan/filter combo.
a drying tent will stink.
you vent from the grow tent into the room its in ?
i vent from me cupboard in the boxroom into the attick.
air traveling /or being sucked through charcoal is mega effective at removing smell....cleans/strips particals/ions of the positive or negitive charge=the smell molocule.
air just whaffting around a room,with a big heap of charcoal in the middle of the floor,surface area may be X10 that of the fan/filter,but way way less effective.
a tent with a bit of suck should be sucking air from the room its in...................not letting the air drift from the room,down the hall to yer from door.
are you pehaps a bit paranoid ?
my smoking of canna im sure is way stinkier than my growing of canna.
where do you smoke ? if all smells went out a window.......................we dont have aircon over here in houses.but could you buy an empty box of a window aircon unit ? and just stick a duct to it ?
