I am new to growing. I am looking at the 32x32 tent with the 240w kingbrite quantum board with 3-4 autos in coco coir in 3 gallon pots for it with the perpetual harvest where you could plant 1-2 plants every few weeks to where you could harvest 1-2 plants every few weeks for it.

The 32x32 tent is not very large so I am wondering what I can do to make more room like trimming the extra leaves on the plant. I like how the trimmed plants look vs the bushy ones. I want the highest yield and quality I can do for the 32x32 tent for it.

Do you trim the extra leaves on your auto plants like defoliate and lollipop for it? I plan to do lst but also want to know what tips you may have to make more room in the tent with training like that on there for it.

Yes I do... plant manipulation will increase your yields. And some plants will increase resin production. Depending on what type of manipulations you choose will determine your outcome. if you choose not to you don't get no benefits.:biker::goodluck:

Thanks. Then if I look up videos on how to defoliate and lollipop those two methods are ok to do on autos for it? I like how the trimmed and lollipop plants look though do not want to hurt the plants in the tent on there for it.

I only started defoliating seriously last weekend.
Of course I removed lower leaves for air circulation but did not Lolipop. Too extreme for Autos IMO. I like to leave most of the vegitation on until they are done with stretch and have a bunch of bud sites. After all veg is veg. Leaves are solar panels providing the energy for everything that happens. I do a lot of tucking and very little leaf removal b 4 flower. And actually well into flower. It all seems to work. There is always someone representing all techniques well.

Weed is easy to manipulate and hard to kill.

There are many ways to manipulate our favorite plant... and getting good at defol is one of the simplest and most effective IMHO

I defol heavily myself...

Some don't do anything but feed and just let em grow...

Whatever works best for you.

If you have 2 of the same strain and are sure you have good genetics like Mephisto or similar quality try heavy on one and minimal on the other.

Thanks. I listened to the coco for cannabis podcast and it looks like he recommends that you do not defoliate much and that you only lightly lollipop the plants for it. I think I may try that for the first grow on there for it.
