Do you know of liquid nutrient lines that you do one level of during the whole time for it?

The problem with the Lucas formula is that , to do it right, its expensive.
And its still a balancing act. The issue is that as growth progresses , the plants needs change.
Which means more bloom in the mix.
The author of the site called coco for cannabis has a phd in agriculture.
He explains the nute needs very well by putting it this way> If I feed you only dessert, you won't eat your supper.
If I feed you only water, you'll starve. There is a good mix of all of the above.

Now take into a count digestion, body weight etc..etc... and genes..
Plants are no different.
That is the problem with lucas.
What you save in bottles, you pay for in def'c.
Then you still end up needing more phosphorus in flower or your buds look like shit.
So you're back to square one.

If you lack the experience of seeing a def'c in the making early.
The route you'd like to take will only dissapoint you in the end.

If the objective is an experiment, then by all means have fun, and inform us of progress with pictures.
But , if you're trying to do this as a cost savings or simplicity, neither will get you the results you're expecting without complications.

You are going to have nothing but trouble trying to do a perpetual grow in such a small space. You will have problems getting light to lower plants and plants will get too big for the space. :pass:

Thanks for the information. That is interesting. I think it would be interesting to grow 2 plants 1 with regular nutrient level then 1 with the lucas formula to see what the difference is on there for it. If you do the perpetual harvest in the tent only 1 plant is large at a time. Would the 32x32 fit 1 flowering plant 1 middle plant and 1 new plant? I can raise up the new plant until it gets large in the tent on there for it.

I suggest either Mantis or MegaCrop as your base. And top feed to add P-K and other needed/desired supplements.

MegaCrop works well, as well in my experience as Adv. Nutr. pH Perfect base nutes. Mantis is looking to work well too. Although I still treat both of these like other base nutes and add supplements.

I have 4 plants now in mid-bloom fed Mantis as 5 mL/L starting day 2-3 (in hempy buckets, coco/perlite with perlite on bottom). I saw slight general yellowing in early bloom, presumably slight N (or Zn?) deficiency, in 3 of 4 plants, with one yellowish enough to start to be a concern. That plant (LSD-25/Fast Buds) continues to resist new growth not having a yellowish tinge (very visible under AutoCOBs, particularly with a 6500k unit on), despite adding 10% MegaCrop to Mantis for a few feeds and foliar feeding (with Transport) using the the N part from Adv. Nutr. pH Perfect, Earth Juice Microblast (micronutrients) and CALiMAGic. Just minor problems, about normal to get some N def. along the way. BUT each of the 3 plants having shown yellowing is definitely larger, with more buds forming, etc. than my usual; and the plants are continuing to grow as they bud (which is not my usual). So overall so far it's all good (enough for me, a lazy grower, don't bother to adjust pH).

Regarding US availability of Mantis, most of the Canandian (re)sellers ship to the US. The manufacturer, not resellers, is restricted from exporting to/importing into the US (presumably, at least until they get labeling figured out; maybe registrations in key states, e.g., CA, CO; who knows?).

Thanks for the information. I have read little on hempy. What is the reason to do hempy vs coco? Does it have less pest problems in the tent on there for it?
