Thanks. Did you buy a bigger thing of it and pour some of it in small things to put around there? How close to the plants is it on there?

I did. I had two of the middle size ones and just out some I. Solo cups around the house.
I used ona gel, or use it a little still, but let me tell you a warning about using it.
So i have a room where i smoke and have a tent in. I used to open the Ona jar every time i smoked to get rid of smells. What i noticed that it ate all terps from my plants. Also another more alarming thing is that i started getting some more lung issues and i i think i have figured out why. Basically this thing sticks to everything that smells and breaks it down. Its really effective on sticking and dissolving smells from smoke. Now think about this: You inhale smoke along with this ona stuff, which sticks to the tar and crap that sticks to your lungs and then this ona thing dissolves it in your lungs!
After some months of doing this i started feeling as if i my lungs were scarred like hell or something like that. I started feeling out of breath even from normal walking or few stairs.
Well i stopped using it and my lungs got much better pretty fast. Still feel like something is wrong with them, even tho its been over a month of stopping using it, except rarely opening it in front of apartment door. Not sure if i should go and have a doctor look at them :/ But its not like my lungs were super healthy before, been smoking bongs for so long my lungs started to feel they cant handle it anymore that well since some years already..
So yea definitely do not use it in same room where you smoke or grow. If you use it, use it near the apartment door if you are afraid of smells leaving to hall way or something. Or use it in tent exit air ducting only and be sure that air doesent circulate back into the tent, but is vented out the grow room properly.

I believe you have been fairly warned.
I still have a big Ona jar sitting near my apartment entrance. I only open it up during harvest and manicure, as an extra step. Have it for more that 5 years. Only open it a few days per year on harvest - kick ass negative pressure takes care of all smells, except of course during harvest and manicure
I also have a ozone generator one level inside, to kill all escaping smell (like bathroom/kitchen vents that are also connected to neighbours vents) - this has been quite effective.
To note, that authorities and seasoned dogs will recognise the Ona smell by association. I highly recomment ozone generators, they work great, kill off any smells, are virtually odorless… they do emit a sort of "hospital" scent, because this is what hospital use to scrub the air from infectious agents. In excess Ozone is hazardous to plants and humans, so please take care. But used in the right way it cleans all smells, makes your air healthier to everyone (including plants) without adding any chemical scent
