Lighting DIY skills are priceless.

That's cool, nice find. I was looking at something similar, rolls of led's, I don't know much about them yet.
Unfortunately I don't either. I found these with decent specs so couldn't pass them up for 11$ each. They are on a fiberglass strip which is nice too. 12v is an easy power supply to find

@BigSm0 OMG THE SUSPENSE! BUMP!

Not leaving until you let me see it. That sounds way too pervy. But not leaving.

@BigSm0 @iampepe I just finished building this last night and getting it hung in a few minutes. I know you're a COB specialist but do you think I should supplement with far-red at all? These are 3500k 80cri being driven in parallel by an HLG-320H-2800B (700mA max)

I started a new thread with the light. Here is the finish. It's already produced 3 times as much mj than it cost to build.

After all the hype I'm probably going to throw it on Craigslist with a few dozen others I built and go for the singles across the whole 4x10 space.

Don't forget your influence for the build and upgrade were from photo growers. Read this http://growlightsource.com/how-to-a...ality-with-the-far-red-730n-flower-initiator/

It does have benefits for autos as well but I feel it's more beneficial with photos. Hence the first comment.

Nice setup, I wish I had the space! When you say you'd do singles you mean you're thinking of putting autocobs for the whole spread? That would be cool to see, have you thought how you would mount or just have em all single as well?

Beautiful looking build by the way. Some day I may play around with the boards. My opinions on certain topics aren't to appreciated.

I'm always interested in people's opinions, they often educate me on their experiences. Anyway, I always planned to do photo's again, but thanks for the article I'll check it out!

The reason I went with boards is because I am running them underpowered and within a very confined vertical space. I would consider running cobs on these heatsinks, I have 4 more (heatsinks) in stock for the next phase. Thoughts please!

You can kind of see the copper bar in the last picture. I'm planning on adding another and having 2-10' lengths. Maybe 12 total. The big frame is only 350 watts in total but it cooked some plants of mine. The plant under the Autocobs were perfect.
