Happy Monday:pass:yesterday evening we had a litte sit in with local grobro's and talked about transition time for photos after flipped, 1 week, 2 weeks....10 days? What is others photogrowers opinion here and Mark what is breeders view of it?

If i count 1 week transition then today bloom part starts, as i normally flip after 5 weeks plants are medium sized in height, but this time me had to go 6 weeks before flip and it's that extra week where plants are munching out of the 1:5 mix and get too big, especially the Kushys.....:nono:

Niice.....:pass:..I Love a girl with big man hand sized leaves.........:headbang:

Looking Good....:bravo:

Looks great Mongol, and those are some huge fan leaves!
Transition time is something that I have only started to pay attention to recently. Before I used to hit the plants with bloom nutrients as soon as I flipped 12/12. Now I'm still feeding them veg or transition (Before MegaCrop) nutrients for about a week.
As far as to how it impacts harvest, I'm curious about that too, do the breeders count that first week towards the total flowering time? I'd love to know!

Thanks girl, it's all about the supersoil...

Me don't have to monitor nutes, because plants decide what they do uptake from supersoil...

Nah, me don't think so, they should also count from after transition time....

That's cool you can let the soil do it all, I'm interested in outdoor for that reason. I'm interested to see how these strains do in hydroponic compared to your awesome organic mix in soil, may have me sniffing dirt again

Hmm, so an 8 week strain would be better to count on 9 weeks, which I do anyways as I check the trichomes for ripeness. I just checked my Pakistan Valley that I put into flower 8 days ago and she is just starting to throw pistils out on the bud sites, but I'll still feed her veg and see at 10 days.

I can really recommend this supersoil a lot! It's so easy growing, just monitoring temps, rh, light disctance and water it and there is so much time left to do other things. When i was growing in the past autos me was using AN line to feed and was growing 12 autos at once. Every time i had to spend hours of mixing up all that bottles and ph' ing it and now i just let water ran it grow bags and chill.....

The transition period from when you flip from 18/6 to 12/12? This typically occurs within 7 day's of the flip to bloom and the "stretch" phase will be active for the first 14-21 day's. This is when the plants will do the vertical stretch then focus will shift to big fat bud production :pass:

All I can see is a very healthy looking crop and a very tidy looking grow room :bong:

Looking on track and in great shape

Keep the updates coming buddy :bong:

All the best

Mark..

@Dinafem-Mark if you don't mind me asking, and you don't sharing the info, do you feed veg nutes still for that first 7 days, and then to bloom or do you transition?
I'm trying to dial in my feeding schedule; I would hazard an opinion that the plant still needs decent N in that 14-21 days of stretch before going to a more P and K heavy feed and restricting N more after that stretch?
