The time has come to make an honest medicine grow for my wifes cancer care. I have chosen the strain for its 1:1 CBD:THC ratio, roughly 6% for both. The oil which I make with this will be made from the entire harvest. I'm sure that I will vape some but the plan is to use buds and sugar leaf in the oil as well as the trimmed healthy leaves at harvest. As of now, the grow plan of attack is to pop 1 seed which shall be from this day forward known as MOM, alongside 2 ET Dragon seeds under a 20/4 light schedule of all LED lighting. At week 3 (approx), I will pop 1 or 2 clones from MOM and hope they both root. Somewhere around week 6 I will snatch 1 or 2 more clones from MOM and hope for rooting. While this has been growing and cloning, the ET Dragons have been vegged and are now heading toward week 8 and an eventual finish, which I am guessing will be around week 10 (+/_ 1 week). At that point lighting will drop to 12/12 and I'll push 5 plants at 3 week age intervals into flowering for an 8 week finish.

That's what I dreamed inside my head, LOL. Reality is always unscripted, which is what makes it so damned interesting to discover. Shit just might happen a little differently as reality unfolds.

Stand by for updates!!!!

Update #1. After a mere 9 hours in soak, "MOM" has sunk and been transferred to a rockwool cube to complete germination.

Now comes the waiting game before the fun can start.

Update #2: Mom is visible in her rockwool cube as she has popped and is working her way above ground. for the next couple of weeks MOM will get a water diet and be transplanted into a 2gal pot. I will begin feeding at 2 weeks and will take clones shortly thereafter.

Germination: Soak to sink, then 1.5x1.5 rockwool cube in humidity container.

Medium: Soil-----mix of approx 70% Fox Farm Happy Frog, 15% coco and 15% perlite with Myccos added.

Nutrients: General Organics brand veg: Biothrive Grow
BioRoot
Diamond Black
BioMarine
BioWeed
CAMG+
Flower: Biothrive Bloom
BioBud
CAMG+

Schedule: Plain water for 2 weeks, veg nutes until upward growth stops and bloom nutes to finish.

I have just placed an order for a 48"x48"x80" grow tent and a 6" fan and filter combo for smell. (since it seems I will be growing a bit for a while)

This will be lit by 1 96x3 reflector series LED and some supplemental CFL lighting initially. I do still want a 2nd LED and will get 1 at the earliest date possible. But in the beginning the current lighting will be more than sufficient.

So that brings everyone up to speed

Update #3. MOM is resting peacefully in a small peat pot with soil now. In less than 24 hours, MOM had already popped her tap root out the bottom of the rockwool cube. So for the next couple of days MOM will live in a small pot with a humidity dome. ( bottom of water bottle) then be tiered into a regular pot.

Pics to follow soon.

Update #4: MOM is just a baby herself here, but they grow up so quickly.

Update Day 14 for MOM. (dinafem shark shock cbd fem photo). Wow 2 weeks old already for MOM. I will let her get a little size then cut 2 clones from her. She has been under 24/7 led in veg spectrum, and has only been watered with rain water which I've added 1ml of Bio Root and 1 ml of Diamond Black to 1.8L. Just trying to give the root system a boost up in the very beginning when it can have the biggest impact. She is now residing in the new Apollo 48x48x80" tent which I still need to get ventilation in. But overall the conditions have been good and the plants (2 ET Dragons share the apartment with MOM) are doing well it seems. If you just give em what they want these plants really grow themselves. Take a look.

I give you Mom

And the apartment, MOM is in the smaller pot.

Update Day 22 for MOM. Mom is having some issues, and I am not sure why. I think its a mag deficiency, with a little over watering chaser. But I'm open to ideas. Right now I'm letting her dry for a couple days and then hitting her with a low dose nutrient watering, (1st nutes) heavy on CaMg+. I may dissolve some epsom salts in water and spray her leaves if I can find regular epsom salts somewhere around the house.

Yea buddy looks like magnesium deficiency to me. Some epsom salts should sort her out in no time. Good luck with the grow mate

I'd go with the mag def also. but those lower leafs have me concerned. look a bit crisp. hows your soil ph? some bags of FF have been on the extreme low ph side.

The crunchiness I believe was a result of damage due to overwatering. The plant is also on nutes now and she seems to be straightening out. Since her primary mission is as a mother plant, and I have at least 8 or 10 weeks before I can go 12/12 she will be fine. Pics on Fri.
