Big girl came down tonight. Sorry about abbreviated posts... I’ve been busy.
It felt like the big lady weighed quite a bit when I hung her up, But then again, she was 4 friggin’ feet tall and three and a half feet around, So she wasn’t exactly a small girl.
I’m not sure if I should post the ladies’ final weight before or after cure.
I’ll post a more detailed entry in a day or two.

So. After hanging at 40% rh for five days, Little lady gave 4 1/4oz of somewhat solid, somewhat soft but STANKY buds. From that, it’s looking like big girl could go 10-12 oz in a few days when I bag her up.
Due to the fact that the Flowers are all sorta fluffy, I’ll use the majority of little lady in my Source Turbo when it gets here. Not big deal.

(I use turkey bags for curing, Because I am clumsy, And drop everything. Can’t shatter a bag lol)

Little lady’s final weight was 4 1/4 oz, or 119 grams.
Big Girl’s final weight was 9.28571428571 oz, or 260 grams...for a combined weight of 379 grams, or roughly 13 and a half ounces.
Had I trained her, Big Girl could have certainly gone over a pound.
Definitely not complaining.

Quick, half cured smoke report- This stuff is potent. Like, “it kinda grabs you by the boo-boo, man” strong. Taste wise...well, I’m not one to review flavors or odors, Due to the fact that I have very little sense of smell or taste. I will say that neither girl had the “ice cream” taste. Then again, I went three weeks with no smoke before trying her, So I was effin’ ripped before I could hold the lighter up for a third hit from my bowl. I did get a heavy, oily taste, But then again...that could have been that advertised flavor, and that’s how it comes across to me.

Bag appeal is up there, From the mix of the heavy coating of trichromes, and bright orange pistils.
Smell, after a half cure is a “double, maybe triple bag it” if you’re taking it anywhere and need to keep smell down.
Would I grow it again?
Most certainly. The yield and the potency are the deciding factors in that.

Will I continue to use Prescription Blend as a nute for my autopots?
Yes. In comparison to megacrop, I had little issue. One time I had slime starting, but got it taken care of quickly.

Now, to answer the pot size question... Yep.
The girl in the 5 gallon pot gave a little over double the amount of flower that the one in the 3 gallon pot gave.
Now I need to do a 7 gallon vs 5 gallon pot in autopots lol.
I’ll add anything else I think of as the day progresses.

Which would you rather see me grow next, Out of gorilla glue #4, purple lemonade, or LSD25? (All Fastbuds).
I grew out the GG4 on my very first indoor grow and it gave me something like 12oz Of golfball sized buds. I didn’t do a journal on it back then. I had it trained and stretched out so much it took up the majority of my tent lol.
I grew the other two in solo cups, PL was my entrant in the FB solo cup battle (no clue what’s going on with that battle, btw.)
The advertised Taste and smell were there, and strong enough for me to pick up on.
The purple lemonade smelled and tasted like sweet lemonade.
In comparison to the Gelato, potency isn’t really there. They both had a good buzz, But weren’t super strong like I prefer anymore. They’d probably knock someone with a “normal” tolerance on their butt, though, honestly. After a three week tolerance break, they came across as more of conneseur..(.conesure... conne...the fancy stuff you take places to show off) type strains.
I’m going to germ my next round of seeds this upcoming Saturday, So let me know by then. OR @Fast Buds Heather if you’d prefer to see a new strain grown, let me know and I’ll give you shipping info. I’ve only got two slots open, And one is going to be taken by a cbd strain.

Regarding extractions, I have heard from several growers that it's perfect for making them, and that the flavors are quite nice. If you give it a shot, let me know if you like it!

I used the gelato for my 2nd run of my Source Turbo.
The first “wash” of an ounce of trim, shake, and larf gave me 5 grams. It’s some potent stuff, I’ll tell you that.
I used the whole five grams to make a 9”x9” pan of peanut butter fudge. ONE PIECE will happily sit your butt on mars.
From what I’ve read, higher potency strains produce feco/RSO that’s something like 45-60% thc. So it made a pan of fudge that’s 2100-3500mg thc. It’s still early so my math is probably wayyyy off.

Let me know when your situation is back under control. I’d happily grow Fastbuds strains only. The seem to be the only ones over the years that have produced the most consistent results.
