Dialing In MEGA CROP for Auto's

I use Mendicino liquid Cal/mag. I'm phasing it out and beginning to use Epson salts as its really the Mg that's needed. I'll also be testing the new Megacrop formula and adding no extra cal mag. I've a test grow starting and I'll use the new formula for those plants.
Thanks for doing some testing for us all.

Thanks @pop22 , got a bunch of the old formula MC and additives left, but will follow along to make sure I understand the new guidelines when the time comes to switch to the newer formula. Also liking your idea of Epsom Salts with the newer formula, interested to see what your results are. I am still using GH CaliMagic as my calmag additive, it mixes well since it is liquid, and does add very little N as I think the N-P-K is 1-0-0. But, I would like to get away from adding more N if possible, especially late in flower.

IMO, the amount of N in any Cal/Mag formula is insignificant. Look at it like this, if the bottle says 2% N and you use 120ppms of calmag, that's 1.2PPMs of N.

I'm using the Epsom Salts with the old formula, not the new. I want to test the new with nothing at all added, no cal/mag either. The new formula should have enough.

I have a question. Not sure what the large granules are, but they weigh ALOT. Atleast in comparison to the powder. Can/should I grind all the hard stuff up? When weighing out my amount, how many of those pieces roughly per gallon? 4 or 5 or like 20?

Also what does “EC” mean? I thought that was grams per gallon first so I was using that. Then I saw 6 grams per gallon so going with that now....

Here so I don’t screw it up is a link explaining EC and PPM.

Lmao I looked at those and wondered what those larger pieces were. They do weight quite a bit more compared to the other smaller grains in the formula. I tend to go like 70% of weight from the smaller granules and 30% with those larger ones.

I’m still just scooping and weighing not thinking about it. 1 gallon at a time just to be safe I put a tiny bit of calmag in my foliar. Once they get bigger I’ll make 5 gal at a time.

These girls are grown using Megacrop 2.0, no added cal/mag
