Depression and Suicide

I always knew Oregon had the potential to be a cannabis loving state what drew my attention to Oregon was that a few ears back they tried to get a Hemp initiative but it failed no other state wanted a hemp initiative I was thinking of the revenues of growing hemp clothes, oil, food and such you know things made to last that is something we all need
Dig that Oregon was the first state to decriminalize marijuana in the 70s the home of DJ short an jack herrer the merry pranksters Ken kesey grew up not far from where I live DJ short lives nearby Oregon is special

A Recipe to beat depression

I have never seen this thread before, but have been looking for a place to share what I have learned works for me.

I've had depression since I was a kid. Who knows exactly why, but that doesn't matter too much right now. Let me tell you that it's been really bad at times. I keep a journal of my thoughts when I feel depressed. Look at it from a few months ago and you will read the thoughts of a very depressed person. I've tried the drugs and they didn't help a whole lot and it got to the point where my body would say "I don't want to take this pill".

I have a friend that is a very good doctor. He's a naturopath. He's in his 50's and in excellent shape and health. He was telling me that research is showing that most depression is caused by inflammation in the brain. This got me reading about natural cures for depression and inflammation.

Here is my recipe and let me tell you that today, 8 weeks after I began this regimen I have almost no signs of depression. Most of this can be purchased at Costco for under 50 bucks.

1) 4 Natures Way Omega three capsules per day. It's the EPA that your body desires so you need to be getting around 2000 mg a day of EPA. That happens to be 4 capsules of the Omega 3 Fish oil that I take. (Don't worry too much. It's filtered). Read the bottle to figure out how much EPA is in each pill.
2) 500 MG of Vitamin C. High doses of vitamin C have been shown to relieve depression in some people.
3) A good whole food source Vitamin B complex.
I take VITAMIN CODE. This works to support the nervous system. They will eave you with a felling of calm. Also, if you use nicotine products you are likely depleting your body of B vitamins. They also give a natural energy boost. The synthetic B vitamins seem towork, but it was recommended to me to get the food source B's.
4) Pro biotics: as instructed on bottle.
Normally two pills per day. Your gut is your second nervous syndrome. You have to support it. You may also notice a lowered appetite for sweets and alcohol

Supplemental. Worth a try...
An antihistamine.
Why an antihistamine? That sounds weird. Elevated histamine levels can cause havoc in your body. They are related to serotonin production.
A good mineral Supplement should also be considered, but I haven't gone this route yet. I need to do more research.
SAMe and 5HTP... I'm going to go with the theory that my problem was inflammatory and gut related not so much serotonin related, but these are thought to be helpful to boost serotonin.

If I had to choose just one of the above I'd choose the fish oil... There is lots of good info on the web about how each of these supplements helps with depression and overall health. Please believe me when I say that if you are suffering with depression that it is REALLY worth a try. The way I know for sure that I am feeling better is that are no entries in my journal since seven weeks ago. These supplements go to work quickly.

Good luck and God Bless.. PM me if you have any questions.

Doing ok here, freedom. Hope you are too.

I have found out that cashew nuts are really awesome for anxiety and overall mood problems. And best of all, they are really yummu! I am on a regular snack -schedule on those and they have really helped a lot. Only thing is that they are quite expensive at least at my location.

Fair reads about them:

It's still to hot in the tent and it's making it super hot in my room so I'm going to go to the clinic here later today or tomorrow cause it's going to be Columbus day until I can get my harvest if I have any girls and I might have to scrub the grow because of Temps not sure if they'll make it another week or 2 until it starts cooling off

Talked to a law enforcement friend. I had from childhood. According to him, because it was an emergency situation. Where a pipe busted and landlord had to come in. The landlord had right to do what he wants if what he sees inside is illegal, or could've just called the cops to remove it, and if that would've happened it would be way worse as I would be in jail, but hey at least In jail I have a bed and food
You do not ever want to be in a county or federal prison. When they shackle you up and take you into the abyss it really really SUCKS.
