All I can say again is WOW, and I am going to say that it is all cause of the extra air to the roots 
lol but seriously man you are going to have close to a record breaker on your hands, there are so many budsites on that baby and she is TALL so you know that those internodes are just going to fill up. Get your string ready to tie those branches up when they start getting too heavy and the branches can't support them any more lol.
Oh and on the popcorn buds/larf/defoliation of the lower branches, I am of the old school opinion that you should leave all the buds on the plant. I personally do it because that is what I use to make my oil with, that way I actually have some nug run BHO vs just trim(it always tastes better from a nug run for sure)

I took off just a few that were kind of in the way when I lift the lid to add water but nothing much. Grew another inch...I think she's slowing down now and will hopefully just start really filling in her bud sites..
