thats not a clone in my book, thats a cutting........and at 20 bucks the bytch better have damn good roots.hey everyone I am sorry about lagging on the updates on my plants they are still alive even thought I have been forgetting to water them every now and then I watered them tonight and still can not tell if they have any seeds or not I will just have to wait till after I harvest them.
the plants are in day #49 of flower and are bending all over the place I used some old plant yoyo's to help support the branches as much as I can with the yoyo's I had they look ok and smell great.
they still have a while to go I will try to stop being lazy and take some pics of them.
more good news it was a vendor day event at a local hydro store. so me and my mom went I got some good deals and bunch of free samples I managed to get a buy one get one sale on a new soil from botanicare called Organicare True Earth Potting Mix it was 12 dollars a bag plus tax so I bought 4 and got 8 bags so that was a great deal. there is more info on there website about the soil the ingredients are Sphagnum peat moss, processed forest products, perlite, compost, fertilizer, and yucca extract.
the soil stinks to high heaven kind of like manure and is smelling up my SUV something viscous until I can put in the garage hopefully tomorrow morning before I go bowling tomorrow. so I dont smell like a poop farmer all dayI plan on using some of the bags of soil to use as a base to make some super soil soon so more info on that later.
I also bought a bag of root riot plugs and a tray and dome plus a bag of worm casting for my next batch of super soil I got two pair of free hydrofarm curved titanium trimmers for spending over 75 dollars which is awesome because I needed some new ones.
there was also some seeds vendors but I spent all my money on soil and stuff so I just let them do there thing and to my surprise my mom bought some reg photo seeds for 30 dollars for 10 seeds and got a free hat plus a 4 pack of some other free seeds and she bought a apple fritter clone for 20 dollars that I did not even now she got it until the end of the event.
the clone had no roots and was in a zip lock baggy so when we got home I tossed it in a root riot plug and put the plug in a solo cup with some soil and put it in my new dome and tray in my empty veg tent which I was so glad I bought because it would have been dead for sure otherwise its wilted as hell so I hope its survives.
I know right I was tripping out like where are the roots at on the cutting I did not know she bought it from them before it was to late.

when I gave the last of mine away they were amazed at the root ball in the solo cups.
I did not use the new soil to plant the clone in i used some big roots from soil king I had lying around still but thanks for the info
well I got a spray bottle and misted the clone this morning with water and the inside of the dome which I should have done last night but had no idea where the spary bottle was till this morning.
the cutting is wilted as hell looking like cooked spinach and I am not sure will survive just going to watch and wait. I hate that they would sell it to my mom like that at least tell her it was a cutting and not a clone if I would have know i would have to her not to get it well ce la vie

bought a cloneking and tried it out on last grow... really like the results but really got to watch res temp...cold snap killed most of the 1st 25 batch...seed mat couldn't keep res temp above 70, am going to buy a electric blanket and try wrapping it come winter if I clone then.
I just mixed up a batch of super soil with the Organicare True Earth Potting Mix from botanicare and I just realized that these are 1.75 cubic foot bags and not 1.5 cf so that is cool more soil for less money lol
the soil was pretty light and fluffy and pretty stinky as well it did not have a lot perlite but have high hopes
I used my 3.0 cf super soil recipe before I seen they were 1.75 cf bags so it was a 3.5 cf batch and I used a full bag of worm castings but I did add some of the free samples I got from the event I went to yesterday like some GreenGro mycorrhizae blend and a few others from GreenGro like flower finisher and there flower mix and a sample bag of big foot microbes but just a few tablespoons of each. I was just going to dump them all in the super soil mix but decided it would be better to keep a few just in case if I want to use it in late flower if they need it.
reminder to myself hook my mom up because she was a champ and moved all 8 bags of soil to the garage and even brought 2 bags and the worm casting upstairs for me.

I just got done watering my plants and finally got some pics they are just flopped over everywhere poor plants. the plant yoyos are kind of working and the buds are looking great especially since we are down to are last few joints of bud left from my last grow so a new harvest is a welcome site.
these plants are in day #52 of flower and these look like they still need a little more time my last grow of this strain that I took these clones from went 70 days not sure about these ones since this was a experimental breeding project.
speaking of the experimental breeding project I cant be sure but it looks like it might have worked well at least in one spot in the last pic there is a brown swollen calyx and what looks to be a seed peeking out.

Since the pistols turned brown and recedes shortly after you Pollination, rest assured that plenty of seeds should be developing well in the interior of the buds. 4-5 weeks is all it takes for them to mature. If you're beginning to see swollen calyxes spitting out beans they've made it to the finish line.
