I want to take a clone from my other one that did really good as a auto flower 24hr.light. please help me on this. its my first clone. im not sure where what to cut yet. but I bought all the things to try to clone.
I will try to get a pic of it. the one I want to clone. heres its story. it has the bottom half trimmed off, because ive been stealing the buds from the bottom up as it grew. I would cut up and oven bake 170degree for ten min. then smoke. so its been a good plant and I hope to take a clone from it. it has two big fan leaves available, can that be used as clone? fan leaf.

Sorry, you can't clone an auto plant. You take a cutting and it will be one bud, it won't develop like photo plant cuttings do. [emoji53]

You have to do it quickly, before it starts blooming. Get a few clones, not all cuttings take.
Once cut, if you can't go straight to a dip in the gel then a dip in the powder, at least put the cutting in water immediately.
I have a pretty good rate of cuttings that take and become great clones with this method.

Little late, but wouldn't it make more sense to leave the light schedule alone and physically move the "photo" plant into a closet at night for a week. If you're around. Don't mess up the other one in the throws of flowering. (Got a pix of that one? I like pix, too)

that's wild. my thought as a rookie was, this is a plant I was impressed with. so I want to clone it. at least one more of it. but its been flowering buds for awhile.it sounds like I needed to clone before flowering. but you say im not able to take a clipping from a auto to try and grow just one more? that's all I wanted. I didn't want more than one more of that plant. I read how things can get messed up jean wise cloneing. my thinking was the seed did good so at least clone one off of it that should do good again. but nothing more. thanks for your help.
