Mephisto Genetics Day 39. Are my Tyrone's too small?

This is my first grow. Growing 4 Tyrone's Special in 3 gal smartpots.

I'm on day 39 using roots organic with 30% perlite added. I was giving them ro water once a week with a small dose of calmag and kelp every other time. A few days ago I gave them a small dose of maxibloom but today I tested the maxibloom ph and it was way off. Do they look too small for their age though?

I did some lsting and ponytailing which I think made some the leaves grow weird. 2 King 300 watt led 18-20" above them on 20/4

I'm no expert but I would she yes. A plant in my very first grow came out to be a blunt, I had problems. From what I know she isn't going to be very big. Again I could be wrong.

hmm maybe lights were too close making them shorter. Also whats your temps like? i know cold makes them stunted

It's been about 75-82. The lowest its got was 71 once. Maybe the soil has too many nutes? I think I might try coco or hempy buckets next time.

we shall see what other have to say about it, i am interested to know what might happen to them.
i started my hubbabubbasmelloscope under 7 cfls and after 60 days i got a mars hydro 300 and have it like maybe 6 inches above the plant and she is rocking it.
im pretty sure you will have some dank smoke, mephisto never disappoints man.

I didnt expect to see them that small. Are you useing the soil additive for this grow? From what you have listed they sound hungry.

She got stunted somewhere along the way, need more info to try to figure out what happened. Definitely might have some overnuting going on there. I use coco and hempy with pretty good results. Even i can't eff them up too bad. Your flowers look pretty good though, so should get you some nice smoke. Maybe you could tells us about your setup, medium, and feed/watering methodology, and we might find what's going wrong. Just want to help you get more plant, more buds, and more medicine.

Started them by dropping seeds in 3 gallon smart pots with Roots Organic potting mix with 30% perlite added. I had some problems with low humidity being in the 20s until around 20 days when I got a humidifier.

I watered in the early stages with an eye dropper with 6.5-6.8ph reverse osmosis water and used kelp instead of water every other time. When they got a bit bigger I started to give them Botanicare calmag 1/2 dose strength what it says on the label with half a gallon water each pot and quit using the kelp . Watered about once a week whenever a moisture meter was right at the start of dry.
That's all I have given them so far except a couple days ago I fed them 1/4 of a teaspoon per gallon and gave them half a gal each. I found out the ph of the mix was off today though. Thanks for helping me out hopefully my next go will be better.

Also if you look on amazon the King 300 watt leds for around $80-90 are the ones im using. I hung both of them 2 plants under each and set them 20/4 from seed till now. I hung them at about 23 inches away when they were seedlings and havent moved them.

Hello sir, is the colour of the leaves so dark as we can see in the photos? I have heard that nitrogen toxicity might do that. Generally i am waiting to see how the leaves look, if they are pale i give nitrogen if they are dark i back off! Good luck with them and
