Thanks carbon!
Hey guys! Sorry I've been absent. I'm taking over as general manager of the restaurant I work at and I haven't had much free time. I've not been neglecting the girls, but they haven't gotten as much attention as I'd like.
But it's great! I'm so excited and the raise won't hurt. I'm nervous as well, I don't feel totally prepared, but I think I'll do fine.
It's been in the upper 50's and we've had some sun, so flowers are starting to bloom, along with the plum and cherry trees. It's already helping to wipe away the winter blues.
Anyway, to the garden!!!
It's doing really really well. I'm happy that my creme mandarine hasn't had a deficiency or problem (knock on wood) and she started her cleanse yesterday. She's getting fat and sugary all over. Her smell is sweet, almost like over ripe fruit. She's gonna be on plain water for at least 14 days since she has some miracle grow soil in there. I am positive all of the nutes are gone, but I really want to get any remnants out of her. I'm an all organic guy, so I don't want any of that crap in my smoke!
Auto pounder is a crazy beast. She just stretched out all over the place! Today alone she grew at least 2 inches...right into a light
but I think she'll be fine. I just can't believe how well she did with the LST. I hope she grows some crazy fat buds. She kicked into flower about 3 days ago so she should finish her stretch in the next few days. She's pretty incredible.
Blueberry unfortunately has turned out to be a runt I think. She's over 3 weeks old and she's tiny, with small little leaves and the side branching sites aren't growing out at all. That's ok, I'm sure she's gonna be adorable and a great smoke, but I'm gonna start another girl tomorrow. Oh well! It's my first odd auto. I'm gonna have to order some more blueberry seeds though. Anyone have a favorite? This one is a Dutch passion.
So my options to start tomorrow are as follows.
I would love for you all to have a say in who comes next! Here are the choices, but I don't know how to make a poll, so just let me know what you think!
- sweet seeds black jack
- sweet seeds creme mandarine
- paradise seeds whiteberry
- world of seeds afghan kush Ryder
With my raise I am going to start saving also for some led lights. With my setup in mind I'm thinking of just getting one to put over the flowering plant on the left side. What would be my best bet for that wattage wise? I will probably go for a black star since that seems to be the gold standard. I'm probably going to get a second tent also, so I may start 2 at a time and have a cfl veg tent and an led bloom tent. It probably won't be for a few more months, but its good to have goals right!
Any advice, as always, is encouraged and welcome.
My MI5 is also 2 weeks in jar and I have to say, it is a killer plant! She smells so good and diesely and strong and the smoke is still a little green tasting but with some more time I'm sure she's gonna be primo. It's a serious medicine! I want to try and get my hands on some regular seeds and harvest some pollen.
Well, that's about all I've got for now. Please enjoy a few pictures. I'm gonna get some really nice ones tomorrow.
I hope all is well with you wonderful people!
