I'd like to ask you a question... How far from the canopy do you have the cob? (Just got a 100w one myself)

Mine is a 100w, 55w actual. Hope this makes sense. As you've got a built in reflector the angle of light only covers a certain area. I got mine as close as I could so the light covered the spread of the plant. It was around 8 inches above the highest stem.

Thank you GMan, I'll give that a go. The leaflet that came with the cob says to have it .5 to 1.5m away and my tent is only 1.5m! Lol

Thanks Jack. I've got the prakasa 100w (actual, they say). Was waiting on GN, to be fair I still am but want to start flowering tomorrow so thought better the cob than a cfl. As both you and GMan are at 8-10 inches that will be my starting point.

it took me 20 weeks of dropping it 1-3 inches every other day then waiting to see if the leaves changed in anyway, cause the booklet i got with the led, said 24-48 inches for veg and 18-24 inches for flower. Just keep an eye on your leaves for any change.

Outstanding grow Gman!! I like the idea of keeping them short, you may get less yield but it irks me to no end to have buds at all different levels of done when it's time to harvest.

Cheers Medi. I agree, although I'd like to find a happy medium. 70+ days for less than a zip bothers me a bit. But it was great it was all ready together.
