I was going thru my DTE stuff and discovered I had a practically new box of the 4-4-4 veg garden fertilizer, it does have slightly different specs(other than npk) with 6% calcium, 1% magnesium and .6% iron, versus simply 2% magnesium. What do you think about that instead of the 4-6-4 you are trying?

The one I'm using is 4-8-4 which seems to be working perfectly if the doseage and watering is right. The tiger bloom I was using before was 2-8-4 so it was almost the same. I have a Strawberry Nuggets in another thread that's been getting all the preemptive treatment that I've been learning from experience with these and it's doing wonderful. Just got it's second top dress and it's showing no issues at all.

If I were to be using a more intert soil that will need nutrients from the get go I'd use the 4-4-4 to start and then move over to the 4-8-4. As far as the 4-4-4 exclusively it won't have enough P for flower so if you could supplement that with it then I'd work great.

I meant to say 4-8-4 was what you were using, brain fart, lol

And that is exactly what I figured on doing, supplementing the 4-4-4 with Flower Fuel for flowering.
