Just when the soil feels dry and the pots are light. I’m just bad at telling when and how much. I’m in 3 gallon pots this go around. As long as I don’t kill them, I’ll be happy
I exclusively pick the pots up and weigh by hand to tell if it needs watering. Often the surface will either be wet and the pot is dry or vice versa for me so I stopped doing the ole finger into the soil trick
Thanks man, it was due to them being underfed on my end. Now that they got the top dress I can already see some life coming back. I'll post up some comparisons tomorrow.
Tent is cruising along today. UVA is back on 12 hours and the plants are loving it. Marathon OG has really sprung back overall and is throwing a bunch of frost. Busy weekend so updates will be short next couple days.
Oh and here are some comparison pictures for the AvT. Not a huge difference but you can see the viable parts becoming more green again.
AvT Yesterday
Thanks man! I was expecting it to get big but not this big. I hope mine looks almost as pretty as yours did, that's a great looking plant. I'm glad it's on the mend now. I'm seeing a bit of color so I hope that keeps going and I get some purple in there.
Thanks for the rep too! Hopefully this journal can help someone else out at some point.
Realized yesterday was the 6 week old mark for the first 5. Seem to be cruising along nicely. AvT got recharge last night with the waterings. Despite the intial setback with the Marathon OG it's just stacking up. The Cosmic Apprentice isn't much further behind. Both are throwing out so much frost penguins would feel at home in there. AvT is healing up the good bits and the rest is crisping up. Kinda looking Kentucky fried at the moment cause I haven't gotten in there and cleaned it up but it's still growing in height so it seems happy again. Found a weird leaf bud growing out of one of the CDLC leaves as well lol, I had a few with leaves growing out like this but not a bud! Weird but I'm gonna try it.
Everyone is doing very well! Will be doing a top dress of the oldest 6 in 2 days along with a dose of recharge. Thanks for stopping by!
